This series is really a lot better in its second cour. I wish they maintain this quality further.

And I can't wait for Mai and Mio and to interact with Hakase and Sakamoto too.

Edit: It also seems they are older in OP. I wonder if they are close to end of the semester.

Mio too OP.. Kicking asses left and right haha!

A touching moment at the end part.. It's nice too see the girls treat Nano as she really is..

Episode in which you can appreciate as usual, the crazy spread liberally in the narrative, and the further step forward made by the protagonists specifically from Yukko and Nano; easy to watch overall.
Drawings and animations that maintain a high level in quality.
Mio-chan still looks good in this episode, thanks to his athleticism, LOL!

Is it just me or is Nano and Hakaze's dance one of the cutest parts of the show?

I think Nano, Hakaze, and Mr. Sakamoto could have an anime all their own and pull it off. >w<

Poor cop.

This is a very good episode... even the espresso part as well.

I love those scenes too. :)

Yuuko was so awesome at the coffee shop! Mio KO-ing everyone was the best short I've seen from Nichijou! Passion! Hakase and Yuuko blend together like peanut butter and jelly, lol! Sakamoto say "Nyan"!

I remember seeing the counterfeit bill scene on youtube, thinking "wow, this show looks pretty funny".

Too bad the rest of the anime wasn't as good as that scene.

Probably the worst episode of the series. How did hakase and yukko get along so fast?
Numbuh 3, you've got to get off the couch, you cannot sit in that tree house, girl you like Rainbow Monkeys so grab your little shit and then swing!

Hand tracks be tracking me to different doorways. In a maze, and I don't know what to do. Guaranteed though, Ima find the emeralds.

I feel the same way, the first 12 episodes were really boring. I'm liking this a lot more ever since episode 13.

That espresso segment was brilliant, life is bitter lol. There's lots of crazy stuff going on and sometimes, you get a really tiny thing despite you working through it somehow. And even, it might just be bitter. I felt Yukko there. Comedically too, it made me laugh

Well then rip Nano's secret. I like her interactions with Hakase.
Yukko was really nice there tho--liked that.

That was a good episode about coming to accept yourself.

Probably my favorite episode yet! I never realized how similar Yuuko and Hakase were... truly scary...
Mio's manga scene was the best, but I also enjoyed Nano trying to cover things up when Yuuko came over, especially the "Sorry to keep you-" *door slams shut* and "I'm hungr-" WHOOSH

So I kinda have to disregard everything I said in last episode's forum. Nano is always going to be a robot so it's better if she begins to accept herself and love herself because somebody already loves her as a robot. Hasake. She thinks that Nano is the coolest thing, even if Nano disagrees. Yukko telling Nano that she is just Nano, no matter what, is exactly what Nano needed to hear. She can't be anyone else. Remove the key or what, she's always going to be a robot, so it's best if she accepts herself for it. And when she accepts herself, I bet others will accept her too like Yukko.

I relate to Nano in the sense of trying to come up with lies and excuses to explain my behavior, actions and family when in reality, I should just take a deep breath and realize "I'm me, no matter what I try to change." I thought Hasake was just being a selfish idiot (in which she still kinda is) but she has a point. Robots are cute, and Nano should feel cute. I love how she starts to accept her key in the end. It's a start. c:

That´s one ridiculous expresso, "It´s so bitter" BWAHAHAHA!!! Btw did that whole spectacle turn sexual hence the cashiers heavy panting especially? It felt like a trade of innuendos to me ;P

HOLY SHIT that familiar scene when Mio totally RECKED everyone for seeing her drawings almost killed me. Your best friend, a cop, an old man and a goat = 2 assaults offenses, 1 assault against Officer and 1 charge of animal cruelty doesn´t mean shit compare to her yaoi xD

"Jā ne" xD

Loved this episode.

The fact that Mio tried to turn herself in and bribe the cop so he wouldn't search her bag was hilarious.

I loved that the daifuku guys joke keeps being built up slowly to the point that the reveal this time was he was mohawk guys dad and for another multi leveled joke his hair only grows in the middle in the form of a mohawk too.

The guess which hand scene was a great display of our casts personalities.

The Yuuko in the coffee shop was as adorable as it was hilarious as she struggled to order stuff she didn't understand and likewise her panic and regret was too.

But most importantly Yuuko meeting professor and Sakamoto is another stepping stone in our worlds colliding. Yuuko is so childish she can get along with a child like they're best friends and it's great. The last weirdly non-nichijou and out of character moment of the episode solidified this one as one of the best in the series for me. I know you're not a robot, you're nano and that's enough. This one had some real flow and development going for it. The last last moment where Sakamoto gave Yuuko a sneaky "later" was also charming.

Also, Mio might be my favorite character after this episode, lord.

another brilliant episode. aside from the outlandish cop scene, everything else stuck out to me. the hyper specific coffee order, and the heart warming moral ending. i also found the restaurant eraser scene to be intruiging as well. specifically, i liked the short intermittent shots of the varied amount of restaurant trays to depict the progression of the conflict. not only portraying conflct, it enhanced the viewing experience to enhance the illusion that i’m actually there. not quite sure if this was done for a lack of creativity, but it felt right and was a nice change of pace. not all scenes need to be full of dynamic activity.

That's one way to abuse your animation budget. Very well done.

The best episode of the whole series, there're too many golden moments. Yuuko's suffering at Starbucks Daiku Coffee is so freakin' relatable. Then she tried to use the fancy word to order the chicken stick, and got ridiculed by the shopkeeper. Really, nothing goes right for Yuuko. Ahh, don't forget our Mio. Going Rampage is just her daily deeds.

Really.. This show needs much more attention even today.

re-watching my favourite anime and just wanted to add how amazing this episode is. It had the espresso doppio bit and the mio loses it bit, along with some other great ones. Wow! And the last bit, Yukko and Hakase interracting is the best. AND at the end, what I missed the first time around, Mai's trying to reach out to Nano putting the screw there. Awww.

also, yukko really is the sweetest it's moments like these where you really appreciate her when she 'nano is just nano.'

Finally we see the two groups interact with each other, it's just as fun as I imagined.

And of course it makes sense that Yuuko and Hakase would like each other.

Thinking about it now, Mio would probably get along really well with Nano, and Mai and Sakamoto would be best friends based on their lack of enthusiasm for everything.

I don't normally comment on individual episodes of anime that aren't currently airing, but omg, this was easily the best episode in the series so far, I about died laughing, add on top of that a nice heartwarming ending, and you have a perfect 10/10 episode, not just for this show, but for anime as a whole.
