| This is terrible, the characters aren't developed at all and they just seem to make one irrational decision after another. I can tell their is a good story behind this, but it seems as though it was just horribly adapted. |

| They really threw in a lot of plot twists there - a few too many I think because by the time we got to "oh no, we were actually related by blood" it just seemed ridiculous. Anyway, the episode was decent. But, even though the story seems somewhat interesting, the portrayal here is just not that compelling. So, because of that, these episodes have yet to stand out as being anything better than just "alright". |

| That guy was on an errand for a year and didn't tell his wife? Why didn't Osode tell Naosuke they were related sooner; Oiwa is his sister too(?)? It would save on the incest and everything. They're so shamed at being related they'd rather die, no-one avenging Oiwa? Am I missing something? |

| Why didn't Osode just tell Naosuke they were siblings? He probably would have stuck with her and treated her better if he knew. She didn't have to sleep with him, she could have just told him the truth. This is giving me a headache. Tsuruya Nanboku the Fourth-san, you wrote a shitty story. So she set up a convoluted trap using her brother and lover to kill herself and only revealed to that thirsty dude that he's her sister... Good grief~ It's cliche now but I guess that people back in the 1600's or something would appreciate that with great surprise :3 |

| I'm shaking, I never expected that that was such a sad and depressing turn of events, I'm so into the story right now, it almost tore me when they took that woman down, and with the latter at the end, man, is this story real? This is unbelievable. To see to what extent some men will go just to win a woman over, that is very animalistic, I'm so glad people carryi ng weapons around like it's something casual isn't a thing anymore, at least, in most places. The ending theme song only multiplies the feels by a great margin. |

Not only is this a "mix" of this famous writer's works "Yotsuya Kaidan" and "Oiwa" (maybe I'm confusing with others, sorry) and not his actual stories but it's weird to expect things supposed to happen to the character to happen to you instead, and also judging based on criteria totally distorted by today's mass produced entertainment fictions. Thanks for reading this badly written rant. |

| LMAO what a melodrama, it has gotten really ridiculous. Entertaining but still ridiculous either way like wtf. First, the guy couldn't have just told his fiancee he was going away first? He didn't have to tell her his secret mission, but he could've just let her know he was going to be absent. Like wtf. He returned one whole ass year later... And how did Naosuke mistake him for another guy so easily, were they like twins or something... he also really said "I got the wrong guy" outloud LMFAO Then, the stupid incest plot twist. Why didn't she just tell him before that they were siblings, then maybe he probably wouldn't have tried to rape her/force her into marriage. Jesus, woman... Is she a masochist or something? (Also they really expect me to believe someone as evil as Naosuke would completely have a change of heart at the last moment and kill himself xd The man only looked out for his own interests, he never even loved her) |
