| At first, I was like "Okay, what?" And then came that Yakushimaru Etsuko OP, and I was like "Oh, awesome." It'll probably take a while to get used to the art, though. Speaking of which, the art somehow feels so SHAFT'y. Not the actual art though. Just the feeling that it's different from everything else. And suddenly, penguins. And suddenly, I no longer have any idea of just what the heck is going on. Tl;dr I just have to continue watching this. On another note, it obviously aired, and yet MAL says it airs tomorrow, and according to other :sources: it airs in like 21 hours from now. A 1 day pre-airing or what? That's kinda weird, isn't it? |

| Love the original idea... this anime does state some pretty interesting questions =3 Though the ending did seem to end with a sister complex =/ |

| Brilliant. The problem was that there was just so much things going on at once. I was very confused, but at the same time, amused. I was totally overwhelmed by incredible directions that Ikuhara showed us. This is, must watch. The best 1st episode so far. |
| Pretty good so far. The only downside was yet another terrible song by Yakushimaru Etsuko (thankfully not as bad as her others, though). |
| What a great episode and what a great start. The best start for all the Summer anime thus far. Is this really for 24th eps if they can keep this up. I might just have a new anime to go crazy for again. :D What they showed at the end was right. Next week is so far away. I really can't wait for the next ep to air already. |

| Holy Jesus that transformation scene..if that gets repeated 24 times I will be a happy man. The OP isn't catchy though...I remember I was hooked on Utena's OP right off the bat since it drew me in with unicorns, iron gates, roses, and a huge dose of fabulous. |

| Incest already in the 1st episode. Can't say I'm surprised though. Fully expecting homo pairings in the next so don't disappoint! And in true Ikuhara fashion, FABULOUS transformation sequences, songs during said sequences, and of course, pulling things out of characters' chests. Also laughed really hard when that penguin chased down Blue-haired twin. Other than that, best first episode of the season, in my opinion. But man, this season has been pretty awesome. |

| So much more fabulous than I expected. Had fairly high expectations for this coming in, and was more than satisfied, outside of a nice hook for the premise, it's quirky and super vibrant, definitely going to enjoy this. |

| Whoa! I'm lost AND impressed, cool! (^O^) What a weird first episode! I'm not really sure about what to expect from this anime. We got the drama, tear-jerker, incest, and everything else all in one episode! Now that's how I like my anime! Ha ha! Other than that, this looks like a great series to be watching, and it's 24 episode! You know it has to be good if it's 24 episode, right? Ha ha! Looking forward to the next! |

| What was so hard to understand? Siblings living together, one of them had a terminal illness, and then she gets saved... But for a price. I was able to follow it perfectly. Could end up being a deconstruction of fairy tales that defy death. Who knows? Loved every minute of Mawaru! Penguins were cute whilst funny, asked thought provoking questions, DAT HENSHIN, Abstract artwork, and a beautiful soundtrack to go along with it! Brilliant! Ikuhara is back! |
