| Meh... it was all done very nicely, but I couldn't enjoy it too much since I didn't understand anything. Hopefully it will explain what's going on in the next few episodes. |
| It was a little convoluted, the dialogue was sometimes not understandable. Too many characters were introduced. But overall I'd say it definitely made a positive impression. The time and setting of the anime should make for an interesting series; there are interesting characters too. Looking forward to watching more of it. |

| Even though the first episode made no sense to me, it was still very entertaining to watch! Glad I picked up this series! Hopefully it will make sense by the end! |

| I can see some resemblances on it to Durarara! (Well it is done by the same studios). Very troublesome to understand though, hope I get cleared up later on =o. |

| i've been wanting for 7 months to start this...and i finally did...and this almost exceeded my expectations ^^ great start...although a bit confusing.and it had some really cool or funny parts,i especially laughed at the guy with the scissors xD 5/5 |

| Well, it's got my attention, but needs to establish what's going on and who are the important characters in this to avoid becoming lost in itself. Although judging on it's first episode, I would think it'll be fine. |

| First impression: Damn was that awesome. I have to rewatch it thousands of times, but still couldn't understand it at all. How did they get those wounds? Why are those couple in white suits wounded? And how did the male only has his bones without muscles or skin? It's kinda terrifying... The other thing that I noticed is how interesting the characters are and that there will be a lot of bloody scenes which hopefully, won't be censored xD The dark theme of this anime gave off an interesting aura, which is why I've rewatched it for countless times xD |

| So vast cast of characters. O.o I've decided to watch this since it's the similar to Durarara and as of ep 1, yeah it's similar. Though I haven't finished DRRR. Just want to finish this first coz there so many references in DRRR that I don't get. >.< Scattered scenes which doesn't make sense at first but I hope those scenes will be weaved neatly in the upcoming episodes. |
| Wow, that's a lot of characters. I usually find it easy to memorize names, but I'll have to put some effort in this one. XD; So I watched this without reading the synopsis, and I have to say... it's interesting. =)) What kept me watching was that scene with Firo's fingers. "D ...Oh and that kid. I forgot his name. I like all that blood. ♥ Anyway, I don't really understand anything. But it's the first episode, so it's not unusual. Better go watch the second now. |

| I've already watched the whole show, and i found the first episode really confusing as well. Though every character gave me an unique aura, it's set in one of my favourite time periods, and the music is AMAZING. You will understand everything in this episode once it's all over anyways. |
| Wow. Crazy first episode. I liked that this show isn't afraid to show violence... I mean, their the mafia for god's sake... but there are a plethora of shows that don't take it to the next level like this one. The mass amount of characters is, indeed, confusing... but it seems that we get to know them as the series continues. Overall, good start. |

| This first episode was a tad bit confusing to be honest. All that set aside, I LOVE the 1930's theme and the music. Also the dub voice actors are really great, especially Firo. I think I like Firos character xD I flinched when his finger got ...yeah :p Looks like this is going to be a great series ! |

watched the whole series + the ovas, but there is this one scene in the first episode which is never shown again. there are the Jacuzzis, Chane, Ennis, and Miria and Isaac but where are they and who are these two armored women??? could this be a part of the novels which they forget to explain in the later episodes??? |

| Confusing first episode, so I will love this series since confusing seems to always make a series that much better. Firo is already one of my favorite characters, such a badass guy. I flinched when his fingers got cut. |
