| This OP sure brings me back, I think that I watched this as part of my first on-air anime Season, on a second thought, no, because I definitely watched Madoka as it was airing. The funny (and somewhat annoying back then) part about this was that I didn't know that this was the the third instalment in the series, until I had almost finished the cour. But this is also a testament to how self-contained Natsume Yuujinchou seasons (and even episodes) are, which I think is an impressive quality, especially considering that if you're looking for a bigger story, there are definite developments that take place, unlike let's say Mushishi. |

| Damn going straight from s2 to s3 really hits you with how better the visuals are compared to the first two seasons. There is a lot more movement, and the backgrounds are a lot more detailed while also keeping their already fantastic art style. |
