It's really good, though it's already outdated... I think it was in the 90s...

Anyways... it's really an interesting story... two people, opposite sex having the same name (spelling and all) and they're classmates! so, every time one of them is called for attendance, if one is not listening closely, both would raise hands and then their classmates would start teasing them...
though the girl doesn't like the attention... (the boy btw, is the silent mysterious type) in the end they became good friends...

and it was several years later that the guy already had a girlfriend... and take note, his gf looks like none other than his classmate in hs.! the one he had the same name with!

so his gf travels to where he had lived as a hs student and along the way, she discovers many things about this girl with the same name with her bf...

it's really tragic, coz it turned out that the guy already died... and his gf couldn't take it lightly... in the school'd library... many students found many books with the name Fujii Itsuki (that's their name)... they let the gf see them all, exclaiming that this "fujii Itsuki' must be a really great person to read that much book...

finally, the gf's investigations leads her to Fujii Itsuki (the girl with the same name as her bf) and both got great surprise...
the gf who saw that she looks a lot like this Fujii Itsuki decided to not make herself known to that person... but she decided to leave one thing behind in her mailbox...

when Fujii Itsuki found it, it was one of the school's library borrower's card... She was baffeld to read her name in it and as she turned over the card... A sketch of her face was what greeted her...

So basically, the boy (her hs classmate with the same name as hers) loved her even when they were all grown up...

for japanese, it's One Litre Of Tears. definitely made me and my family cry... :< korean, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho. though it has many funny scenes, there were very sad scenes too. but, i recommend you to watch One Litre Of Tears, really sad. T__T

I'm mostly into k-dramas rather than j-drama but dont get me wrong Ireally liked the kokou debut live action j-drama they did from the manga the guy was sooo hot! Plus he was a really good actor he gave an aura of Kim Joong Hyun (which is btw,I think the most flawless/perfect actor in Korea if you ask me maybe to good to be true haha XD)

The most romantic + cutest drama I've ever seen is My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho :D :D The reason being is that the concept of the drama is so different to many k-dramas Ive seen in a long time. Its very refreshing and it doesnt get boring to a point that you have to force yourself to see the ending haha xP It has alot of comedy involved which is a bonus! The pairing of the couple is just so darn cute! I fell in love with them straight away. Their love story is full of misunderstandings and troubles yet its fun and happy to watch xD The ending was so touching I cried ;'(

Okay Ive just written a whole lot xD I just had to vent out that out since I love it so much! It's truely an amazing drama I recommend it for all those who has not yet tried watching k-drama, I guarantee you'll love it! <3

Creating Destiny - about a predestined marriage and changing fate [pretty long, but not bad]
Dream High - a school where people focus on achieving careers as top stars.
Dream High 2 - a sequel to the above, with different cast
Heartstrings - a boy in a band likes a girl who plays a rare instrument? o-o
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho - about a chance encounter with a man and a very pretty girl who is actually a nine-tailed fox.
Personal Preference - a clumsy girl ends up living with someone who she believes is gay, but he isn't
Secret Garden - a rich man falls in love with a action star, there is some body-switching in this drama
You're Beautiful - a girl is taking the place of her brother in this band, ends up being a harem.

i'd say the most romantic ones would probably Boys Before Flowers, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Personal Preference, Secret Garden, and You're Beautiful.
