| That dog is a hero. Does anybody actually say "hey you know what, Snickers is my favorite candy bar". Apart from my dad, I feel like most people prefer others like Twix, Midnight Milky Way, Butterfingers, ect. Mio vs. Yuko was splendid. I can empathize with Yuko specifically because I often share her role among my group of friends as the loud, boisterous clown, and sometimes that really can lead to a lack of respect over time. Glad Mio was able to look beneath Yuko's exterior and view her as an equal. |

| nano at school <3 lol sakurai sensei's brother(?) joining club LOL buddy the dog, what a good buddy x) mothers of god... that quarrel over lunch... but all turns out well x) just poor mohawk guy getting shot lol so did she eat the fish? episode felt short... i guess the majority was on mio and yuuko's quarreling, nice ed but kinda too peaceful/sad for this series |

| Great episode! Somehow I like this more when this isn't so random as before. Continuous plot is always better than independent sketches. Nano's first day of the school was... pretty hectic. I wonder if her other day would be similiar. But somehow her back-key was totally overshadowed by that huge awesome quarrel between Yuuko and Mio, that was simply marvellous! And I like new ED! Let's hope that next episodes are as good as this one was. |

| Episode that opens a new phase in the anime, what a nice surprise! This is evidenced not only by a new OP and a new ED, but also by the change albeit subtle narrative, which sees the union of the two timelines, with a real interaction between the various characters until now divided by the plot. Not bad the story, interspersed with less arguments in the case and more consistent in the timeline of action. Funny narration, but always with a touch of craziness typical of this TV series. | This episode was great form the beginning to the very end :D Mio vs. Yuuko was classic, and Nano in school is going to be amazing! I'm only let down by the new OP and ED, I loved the old ones, so they will get a little to get used to. I suppose I will get to like them eventually, though ;) |

| Definitely best episode in a while! Loved the Argentine Peso, awkward Nano and sensei, and the dog consoling Yuuko, as well as the converging storylines in general. The new op is pretty cool, though I preferred the old ed to this one. |

| Wow this show's like actually starting to develop a plot. I think Nano's first day of school might be the longest they've ever stuck with a thread. I'm excited though. I didn't mind it but the school antics and Nano and the Professor seemed very disconnected. And now they're being naturally brought together. I'm excited to see Nano try and befriend these girls in the coming episodes. I also thought the Yakisaba/Yakisoba scene was absolutely hysterical. One of the funniest in the whole show so far. And I liked how it firmly outlined Yukko and Mio's relationship. This series can be rather mean spirited as a result of its cartoonishness. And it's rare to see the come down/reconciliation after the comedic ramp up. But I kind of got feels when their fighting devolved into them embarrassed yelling what they like about one another. Nothing wrong with a little heart on your sleeve schmaltz every now and again. |

| Ehh, the new OP is a letdown :/ And I'm not too happy about Nano going to school. I like the Yuuko + Mio (and other school students) parts way more than the Nano + Hakase ones. They should just stay separate. |

| New OP being slightly different than the first was a great choice. I think I may like this one more! This was a great episode. Seeing Nano go to school and try to fit in was really cute. "I'm normal"! I hadn't realized how nice Mio was until she walked over to greet her sitting alone. I think the continuation of the shoe joke is a prime example of how Nichijou has improved. What once was random incoherent absurdist jokes, one after the other, is now tightly woven jokes which express the character writing beautifully. Her kicking her shoe onto the taxi was enough to make it the most Yuuko thing already, but by returning without shoes and the wrong food in one of the best scenes yet was even better. At first I got a bit annoyed by the Mio vs Yuuko scene as I found it to be too much. Over the top animation and yelling went on too long. But I loved the way the fight started about the Peso and the way it ended. Seeing that argument go from a hatred fueled battle of rivals to a beautiful camaraderie of compliments was as funny as it was cute. If I were to describe Nichijou I think I would do so as "an incredibly comfortable show about enjoying the little moments in life". |
