I hope, you might enjoy it... Under the Rain A red umbrella was the only color spot under the raining gray world. She was stood alone in complete silence in front of a damaged lamppost contemplating a little dirty and empty vase. Suddenly, moved by a little of empathy, someone came across the dark street. "What do you have there?" He asked in a whisper by her side. "This is the first copy," she answered with her eyes flooded in tears and an empty smile in her lips. "There was no need to bring it here, you know?" "It was the least I could do." "Thanks you," he smiled with sadness hugging her gently, "but I hopped you understand this must be the last time… You must move on." "I know, but I just want to bring you this before saying 'Good bye'," she told him putting the book between the vase and the pole. "Thank you," he whispered with a tear falling by his cheek, "I will never forget you." "So as I," she answered turning her face to the man who was not there anymore, "rest in peace my love," she said before continuing her path under the rain. Link to NoHeart's collection  |
