If someone takes a loan from Endou and those people don't pay back and go into hiding, Endou gets in trouble because he himself borrows money from higher ups in the Teiai Corporation to pay for those loans (ex how Kaiji owed a lot of money and was missing for some time, Endou was in big trouble over that). So right now, Endou himself is in huge debt because of other peoples' unpaid debts. This is also why Endou is asking for so much money if they win. The total of 60 million that Kaiji is borrowing from Endou is money that Endou himself is borrowing (also with interest I assume) from other people so don't expect him to get all that interest money himself. |

| Those three could make the best team ever!!! Can't wait to see how Kaiji gonna beat that Bog thing. And Sakazaki really "break" in the first half of this episode. Betting 6 million on a horse that has the same name as her daughter & the jockey's name is a bad pun of kiseki (Japanese for miracle). I'm glad Kaiji get there on time. |

| Hum, did I miss a step somewhere ? Why the fuck did Kaiji immediately think of Endoh for the third person ? Didn't seem like a good choice at all to me... Did he somehow know that he also had debts ? And why is Endoh so complying to trust Kaiji ? Didn't look like they had such a relationship last time we saw them together :/ |

| That sure is an odd partner Kaiji got here. After all Endoh did to him, you could have sworn he would have thought about someone else. But I guess they are from the same root these two, thought Kaiji is more of a survivor than Endoh. That sure seem promising! I really do wonder why Sakazaki is dressed like a monk, or whatever else he dress as. I don't see how it is related to the whole bet. I'm also curious about Kaiji revelation with the construction thing. Do he plan to use the vibration, or the sound construction site to mask up something, or use the vibration to deviate the ball? |

| The OST in this episode gorgeously captured the different moods in this episode~ Pops almost betting his last stack of cash on a fate-inspired pun lol Despite being knee-deep in debt, Endoh still acted like the tenacious business man he is. Good thing that the 3-way split ended up evenly. I'm really curious about Kaiji's plan. I thought that Sakasaki dressed as a monk was a representation of him believing in miracles a lot but it was literally part of the plan haha. I couldn't handle it when I noticed the 1st editor looking at her boobs for a split second lmao  |

| This arc has been phenomenal so far! Best character Endou returns. There are some interesting characters at play and Bog arc is shaping up to be phenomenal. 10/10 first cour, pacing was so great I thought I was almost done with the anime. Depending on the second cour of this season, Hakairoku-hen might end up being one of my favorite anime of all time. |
