It takes me about 1/2 hour to read 1 volume & about 7 minutes to read 1 chapter on the computer, so... I guess that's kinda' fast, at least for me.

It really depends on the manga.

But around... 30 minutes per volume. And around... 3 volumes a day, depending on how busy i am.

10-30 minutes for all but the most wordy volumes. Volumes per day seems like a kind of silly question to me because that has more to do with free time than reading speed.

I can read about 400 chapters quite easily a day and I'm starting to read it faster and faster. I usually have a reading speed of about 2-4 minutes/chapter of a weekly manga and 8 min at most of a monthly manga or one that i really love. I have days though, when I don't read any chapters at all.

I don't like reading manga way too fast or else i'll have nothing to read later XD But once i read 60 chapters of 30-40 pages one day. Didn't spend more than 3 hours reading, i guess. & i like paying attention to the images and everything, that's why i like detailed art.

I can read about 9 volumes in few hours (like last night). Usually I don't read that much.

I'm quite fast reader and I don't usually stare pictures long. Sometimes, if something cute or interesting is going on, I might slow down and even go few pages back to look interesting scenes again.

maybe 7-10 volumes a day? :)
but that's only on free days where i do nothing but bum out haha
normally when i have stuff going on during the day, it's maybe 1 volume.

or time wise:
about 7-8mins for a 35ish page chapter..if i fly through it!
more like 10-15 if i go back a read some pages or look at the pictures in detail

It depends on how much text there is. With not much text I take about 20-30 minutes, but normally it's 40-60 minutes. It also depends on the series whether I watch the pictures longer or not. If I really like the drawings, I watch them longer. I don't like rushing through a volume.

For a monthly manga, usually 10-20 minutes to finish one chapter.
As for a weekly manga, like Bleach or any manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump, I can finish one whole volume probably 40-50 minutes. Depends on how much dialogue there is.

Idk why you guys say volume since volumes can vary from like 6 to even 15 chapters.

For me, I usually read a max of 30 chapters a day on average but if I am really serious about it, I could read around 40-50.

I take ages to read manga. Probably why it has taken my list a while to grow. I like to look at every panel in detail and make sure I haven't missed anything. I also tend stare at pages with really good art for a while, such as the introduction page to chapter thirty-one of Tekkonkinkreet. It took me hours to read the last volume of Death Note as well, because it was so damn good to look at.

As for how much manga I read. I just read when I feel like it. Sometimes that's a couple of volumes a day, others it's only a few chapters a week.

My manga reading could best be described as on and off.
I might read a couple of chapters one day, dont read anything for a couple of days and then read a few more chapters. Concerning reading, i make sure to read the bubbles and making sure i get what's going on.

I can usually read around 5-10 volumes in a day if I really have nothing going on.

The fastest I ever read was probably 51 chapters in about 3 hours...

1 chapter itself can take from 5-10 minutes considering the series. Action series take about 2 minutes flat because they go by so quickly and are less than 20 pages a chapter. But ones with a log of words can take up to 15 minutes... So... not too long really.

18 volumes of Monster in 1 day was the fastest I ever read (considering it sometimes had a lot of text to read)
But usually 1 volume with a bit more of text about 30-45 min
If the artwork is extremely good then I can spend around 20 min on a chapter.

For me it usually depends on either the art or the story.

For the art, If the drawing is not that good, I read pages faster. If the art is considered masterpiece, I read pages slower to take in the effort of the artist who drew the page so well (this is usual for most artists).

For the story, If the story is quite light like that of romance or slice of life, I read pages faster. If the story contains heavy information that with heavy drama or mystery, it usually takes me a long time (about 1.5- 2 hours) to finish a volume in order to take that all in (the emotions, the suspense and stuff)

Well, not to brag, but I can read the word 'manga' in less than a second. Yeahhh... women dig it.

At most I'll read about 100 chapters in a day. Normally, just a few each day if I don't try to catch up on a manga that's completed.

If I'm really into it and the chapters are short (30-40 pages) maybe like 20 chapters a day. I read manga fast, too. At least I think I do.

I do a lot of stuff during the day, but if I did nothing but read manga, I'd read a lot more.

This.
It honestly depends on the manga.
I'm especially slow with a lot of manhwa because the art is poorly drawn IMO. There are exceptional cases like Dogs and Bride of the Water God and others but the majority is that awkward, pointy, discombobulated humans they portray.

When people say how long it takes them to read a chapter...I feel that's a poor measure of time. Chapters vary from 12 pages to 80.

When reading weekly chapters (One Piece and Naruto, about 16-20 pages) I've noticed that I read pretty slowly. I haven't checked any exact time, but I think it takes 20 min.+ sometimes, at least for OP. Depends on how much dialogue there is.

for manga such as naruto or bleach my best record are 20 ppm.
since most pages consists of just picture with some text effect.
nothing to read...

but for manga that are much narration or text like ouran or conan, i think my speed is about 4 to 5 ppm.
