I've found myself a new pace when I started reading manga in japanese. I can read just as fast as in english if I just read, but when I take the time to understand... I slow down to a crawl. It's humbling, but at the same time encouraging.

It depends for me... Manga like Aventura or Air Gear take time because sometimes the text is small and there's so much of it that it takes me a while to absorb all the info. Plus, the pictures are so damn nice to look at. It may take me forty minutes to an hour for one volume. Maybe more if i'm really taking my time.
Other times, even if the pictures are nice, i can read an entire volume in thirty minutes. For certain manga that looks sloppy it may take me a while while other times i just HAVE to look at every character and trace my eyes over their eyes and then entire face before i can go to the next panel. It strains my eyes but i just have to do it.

And then the usual time when i can just speed through it like it's nothing and finish five volumes in maybe two hours.

These situations are usually for when i'm reading a physical manga though. I can speed through scanlations easily no matter the manga. A 40 page chapter can take me ten to twenty minutes.

It depends on what it is, but usually 2-4 minutes per chapter.

I think it depends on what im reading. Some manga (like one piece or bleach) that have/had been reading FOREVER i could blow through a chapter in a few minutes.

but other manga I had either just started or am trying to understand it more i can take 5-10 minutes per chapter.

Depends, i'm more of a anime fan(although, I've enjoyed several manga more than most anime). But it can be anywhere from 2 chapters to 30 per day , on average.
But back when I started reading gantz, it took me about 3 days to read all 355 chapters.

Less than a day, I can't sleep until I know how a particular manga ends.

depends on the story line and arts.. if they interesting, i can read up to 26 volume non stop :)

I am currently reading 5 series right now.

I usually read about 2-3 chapters each day out of each(Except Aphorism since the chapters are long, I read 1 chapter every couple of days).

I remember reading Liar game and spiral in 1 day each,good days

i can read a whole volume in 2 to 3 hours

I read depending on how interesting the manga is..if it's really interesting..i can read for about 1 to 2 volumes..:)

It takes me about half an hour to get through a volume, however many chapters that may be (since it changes between shounen, shoujo, seinen, monthly, weekly, etc.)

If it's a good manga, really fast.
If it's blah, really not fast

Well i read maybe a few a week,I don't read Manga everyday because i don't have the money to buy Manga everyday,since i don't like reading online.And it take's me about 1 and a half to 2 hour's to read carefully.

This is such an interesting discussion. I have wondered how other people take to read manga. My Papa got on to me for reading manga to fast and not savoring the art and story enough. I'll have to tell him I'm reeeaaallly slow compared to others.

It usually takes me about 3 hours to read one volume. I take longer if it's a series I really like because I want to really admire the art and take in all the details. I also want to make it as worth my money as I can. If it's online I usually read it faster and I read more because all I have to do is click my right arrow and the story goes on forever (for free). I prefer buying volumes to reading online but I can't afford to get them too often so I have limited my self to one chapter a day of hard copy mangas to make them last as long as possible. ;)

It depends on the series. My normal rate is 1 volume/day, but if I really love it, then I can end up reading between 4-5 volumes per day.

If I read the physical thing, I can finish 1 volume in half an hour. I read at average 3 volumes per day
