Well i don't think it's annoying... unless while win loading you staring to monitor and waiting for programs to load... If so better go make tea/coffee :) I like splash screen, ofc it would be nice if you could edit it, something like create your own, that would be similar to feature for theme creation  |

Now for the option to theme it so it fits in with the MAL theme would be nice. Also I can see how the splash screen would be embarrassing for some people to have going (as well as the catgirl background) and would want to turn it off.  |
