| According to Hatena Bookmark News, Matsudo city has made a poster featuring a Mahou Shoujo to publicize the Crime Prevention Week. The poster has been displayed at police stations, train stations and public facilities in the city from June 15th. | LOL at all the Madoka references ... I suppose if this was the 90s it'd be Sailor Moon jokes ... Taser-tan is cute but I'm not sure if Mahou Shoujo should be advocating 'riding the lightning'. The Japanese police seem much more restrained than the gung-ho thugs we have here tho, I think a lot of them don't even carry guns. They can probably think of better ways to talk down a bedridden grandmother than electrocuting her. Granted, I base that on the fact that I never hear about police brutality cases in Japan, so it's possible I'm just being ignorant of international facts. |
