Nope! It's cheap because it's overstock stuff. I've bought from them many times before, everything is new :]

Ebay often has cheap mangas...
and once in awhile someone sells a huge (100+ books or something)
manga/anime lot for some cheap price.

I get a large majority of my manga/anime stuff from there.

^ I think it's US only.

I like Deep Discount, it isn't just manga that's cheap. Anime and Video games are at good prices too.

Another good place is Half.com
Expect to get the best deals used, but some books new can be around 2-3$.

I don't know of anything with discounts of the scale of the sites they posted above (although I'd love to), but bookdepository.co.uk sells cheaper than brick and mortar stores tend to, and is cheaper than amazon.co.uk the majority of the time. They send stuff out fast, and shipping is free (however you can't preorder anything as stuff that isn't released yet is just listed as 'unavailable')

Abe Books is really good! You can get new and old stuff for really good prices :)
As far as I'm aware, their shipping costs depend on location, but they're usually a great deal ;) xx

I'm looking at Deep Discount's prices and they are not great at all. Amazon has much better prices.

  • List Price: $15.99 (Uh no it isn't)

Amazon:

  • $7.10
  • List Price: $10.99 (This is correct)

YOTSUBA&! vol 10
Deep Discount:

  • $11.01
  • n/a

Amazon:

  • $9.59
  • List Price: $11.99

I only ever buy my manga on Amazon, usually for around £3-5 each. I'd be bled dry if I bought everything from Waterstones or 'Smiths.

I'm not sure if someone's suggested this or not (I haven't looked through all the comments), but

www.thriftbooks.com

is great for used books. They also have new ones available, but the used ones in good condition are only a third of the price.

I buy it off of Amazon because they usually have cheaper prices like sometimes $6.00. It's also nice because you can buy more volumes until you pay enough for free shipping which I believe is around $40.

However, I would not pay it if you were only getting one volume from one manga because shipping+handling is about $6 or $7 and tax is $2. I use gift cards.

I have several choices when buying mangas

Shop Nippon
https://shopnippon.com/
Shipping cost is low, but as this shopping site is not only for mangas, may have a lack of varieties if you are looking for mangas only.

Cdjapan
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/
the long-living shopping site. it may be not cheap relatively but you may find the mangas you are looking for, since there is a plenty.

I didn't see if you were looking for mangas in English or in Japanese. I considered your question as about in Japanese anyways :P

Only place I've ordered manga from online is amazon, but if you bother to look at the different companies you can have it shipped from, you can get some volumes real cheap.

I don’t know about the UK, but the cheapest (I think) website to buy manga in the US is Instocktrades.com. The books are usually 30% off and free shipping on orders over $50. Amazing place, I buy all my comics and manga there.

I only buy manga off of Amazon, but be careful when buying used stuff - sometimes when you find really cheap used books, they're actually former library books that still have all of those ugly, unremoveable stickers on them. :/ I mean, they're still readable so I don't mind buying them, but it is kind of annoying for display purposes.

Guys guys guys. I wanted a cheaper place then what I had. However, litteraly all your suggestions are more expensive than where I order. Free delivery and they always do sales. The latest re zero light novel volume is around £8 for crying out loud it's great and ships all around the world and has more mnaga than stores like forbidden planet and lots of light novels so I suggest you shop there. It's cLlwd wordery. https://wordery.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjw4ZTqBRBZEiwAHHxpfrAjxJ60bZjo_HDfvCjmkaiqub1fojjpFTjs9c0dRwiwokc8IyoKeRoCvOYQAvD_BwE

Yeah to be honest, amazon and ebay are the best sites for cheap manga. Most manga on amazon I buy are used there usually around 5-6$ each even on omnibus's.
