| those Kabukicho dogs trying to beat a fucking monster (gintoki), a superhuman from Yato clan (Kagura), and a fucking cyborg who create a chaos on the town before (Tama). yet everyone trying to kick their ass and nobody fear them, are they plain stupid or what? |

| Author is a bit more on the nose than usual. Usually he reveals motivations by the end of the fights, this time he's starting with "daughter wants her father back in her life", like damn, that's direct! We all know by the end of the episode that she'll do anything for daddy and nothing's stopping it. Time for a final showdown! |
| A very touching episode. When Shinpachi started crying and when he shouted at Gintoki, I was really crying. But that scene was beautiful, especially Shinpachi's va in it. Also, loved the scene where the past characters were shown in the background of the conversation. That ending was hype! Gintoki can even make drinking strawberry milk look badass. |

| Damn I'm relieved that Otose isn't dead even though it's not surprising, but also great how Gintoki doesn't try to leave and will stay to protect the house, it will be hard for sure though since they're only 5 against two whole clans but next ep will be epic I can't wait! |

| sadaharu sympathetically howling when kagura, shinpachi, and catherine were all crying asgdhjdkajs the music for this arc has been getting to me “what’s with that group of men or women or both or neither?” my gender it’s unfortunate that crunchyroll stopped providing context for references and terms in subtitles this season and just started using westernised/bastardised translations instead, resorting to queer slurs went up as a result, which is frustrating because おかま/okama is a term in which the context it’s used in matters |
