What recurring situations in manga really annoy you?

for me.

1. Boy finally gets girlfriend. Fantasies constantly about having sex with his girl friend. The mangaka even goes out of his way to draw the fantasies. Yet the couple is never seen having sex nor is it even remotely implied they ever did in real life though out the entire manga. I's was notorious for this.

2. The Lesbionic pipe dream that happens when ever female characters get into a bath together and they automatically start practically raping each other and gush over the bust line of the girl with the biggest tits.

3.Magically appearing female characters that are used for maybe 3 chapters just to fuck with the Male Protag and cause drama and "misunderstandings" between him and his female love interest to further the game of grab ass between them and put a hold on any would be confessions.

When two characters who obviously love each other take like 10 volumes to even admit it/realize it.

Things that piss me off in manga...

When the two main characters are in love then they find out they are related by blood. Oops. ;)

& stupid female heroines.

When girls fall in love with the guy that abuses/rapes them, and the whole thing is presented as romantic.

Wow, that too... Some of the heroines are really, really brainless.
I've only read a one-shot of that. It made me cry... she fell in love because he apologized for doing it - apparently she was mistaken for the call girl. -.-

Useless heroines.
Perverted fantasies.
Hot-Headed protagonists.
Rushed Endings.
Girls that constantly beat up the guys for the comedic breaks, and vice versa.
Cliffhangers.

I don't think that's any better. What's he doing raping a call girl? Raping isn't cool, no matter who you do it to.

When the main character picks the girl that's not as fucking awesome as the other one.

When an Arc becomes really long and drawn out without any real progression.

Well, that's pretty much my number 1 annoyance when it comes to "romance"

ok, other things:
-confusing artwork that makes following action difficult if not impossible
-arcs that go nowhere ever
-characters falling in love with characters that are terrible people

That is my pet peeve. I hate when I can't understand what is going on.

when there's a love triangle and you already know who the main character falls in love with nya!!

oh I got another one.

Sadistic characters they try to redeem or make you feel sorry for them by making them have some sapping as fuck back story.

"oh he may rape and eat people's for fun, but it's only cause his mommy didn't hug him enough and his father cheated on his mother."

Shit annoys me to no end.

1. In shoujos, where the main girl is always awkward and airheaded and there's a grouchy guy that you KNOW she is going to fall in love with (and he's always the most popular guy in school -__-). I don't understand how girls keep reading these stories 'cause THEY'RE ALL EXACTLY THE SAME.

2. In shounens, when girls grope each other's breasts and comment on breast size. Do Japanese girls seriously do that, or is it all in the mangaka's pervy imagination?

3. In yaois, where the uke is raped or forced to have sex, or when they start having sex in the first chapter. But maybe that's the whole point of the genre.

I really hate manga withcookie cutter character design..-.- it was cool when i was 14 but im over it..I guess thats what makes me keep reading manga. So that the stuff that breaks the mold makes it all worthwhile.

Also i hate how yaoi is..always the same story eghh

hate it when the stupid idiotic people bind, staple whatever they do, the book too close to its binding so I CAN'T READ THE TEXT
oho also when the author keeps adding random blah blahs on the side...they aren't beneficial to the plotline, they just take up space and they do not make me laugh at all
when people keep crying
yaoi when the damn people will not admit they LIKE EACH OTHER when they CLEARLY DO..i mean its ok for a little bit but too long is tiring
when like...5 guys(exaggeration) fall for the same girl
fan clubs that terrorize the girl some boy likes

When something that can be resolved in a few chapters is dragged out.

When two characters are OBVIOUSLY into eachother but won't get together because of embarrassment, the girls tsundere personality, or some other dumb reason. This doesn't bother me when it doesn't last too long, but when it goes on for volumes and volumes it drives me nuts.
