| Pretty damn good. I actually did not expect the girl being a psycho bitch and all that at all. The art style gave me the impression their would be violence and such, but not to the extent of that torture room and him slicing through that girl! It was actually a nice surprise. Moving onto the next chapter! So far so good. |

| Came into this manga pretty excited, and the first chapter was even better than I had expected. I really like the art in this manga and the chars seems pretty cool. That girl had me fooled too, didn't expect her to be an bitch like that. Looking forward to finding out more about the personalities of the people in the group especially Akame, lol she seems great. Off to read more. |

| wow when he 1st started talking about his friends I was looking foward to them like coming to his rescue or something. I thought the girl was gonna be a beast or something. To watch them die was crazy. I thought it was kinda fishy when the lil girl was talking about her being sure he would see them again. |

| Wow I was completely caught of guard by this manga. While I was reading the first 30 or so pages I thought it was really generic but then all of a sudden things started to get unpredictable, im shocked I cant wait to see how this story develops if this is just the first chapter. |

| Oh yeah, this is so suprising, who would have thoguht tha-... no seriously, it was fucking obvious. Normal art, meh characters, "shocking twists" that are standard fare. I am not impressed. |

| Kinda suspected there was something wrong with that family,I thought they would end up enslaving the country bumpkins but I guess torture chamber is where it's at now. Other than a few shounen aspects which makes me dislike this already the fact that the MC actually killed that one girl instead of justifying what she did and let her live even though she killed his friends got me quite interested. |

| that was enjoyable, I've been hungering for a standard shounen for a while, but I just don't feel like continuing the big 3 that I have dropped once, so this should serve me just fine. It was full of shounen cliche, but I enjoyed it. |

| Wow I'm quite surprised and impressed, judging by the art style I thought it would be one of those typical shounens. But I'm starting to like this manga because the author had no problem making this manga gruesome, I just love it. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Damn... this was amazing! I did expect that family did something bad that turned them into a target for the Night Raid but not something this gruesome. That was one tragic reunion for Tatsumi. |

| So, this was exactly how it ended up being in the anime. Quite a long chapter, I was not expecting so many pages. It was good, as the first episode of the anime but I fear things will only turn worse from here and out... I really hope the manga to be better than the anime was because I had so many complains on the anime but for some reason I had hope it could get better. It didn't. People say the manga was better, and even goes beyond the anime and that fake ending... Oh well, I'll shut up. I like Akame's hair. It doesn't look like a motorcycle helmet in the manga =D |
| 1st chapter was kinda big. im new to mangas. the first chapter contained everything in the first episode of the anime. soo much content and great pacing |
