It sells well, the novels sell well, it's liked by a large number of people, and Shana is one of the most popular characters around. I'd say that's plenty fruitful enough. Hoping for 24 episodes, seems like everything has been 11 these days. Great news though, will be looking forward to this and I sure hope they do a good job of wrapping it up. |

Only noitaminA shows tend to be 11 episodes exactly (ignoring BD bonus eps), given that slot's somewhat atypical scheduling. The rest are the usual 12-13. And 2 cour shows aren't as dead as their reputation. One cour is just a much sounder financial investment really. You get to sell them for significantly more per episode than most 2 cour (it's common for a 1 cour to be 7 discs and a 2 cour to be 9, only adding 2 discs for double the episodes). And you can gauge reaction/profit before committing to another season. But yeah, I like two cour shows too myself. And I'm almost certain this will be one. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |
