Now it's going to be seen by all of the newbies, isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if Izaya's and Shizuo's faces are as ubiquitous as Light's and Lelouch's. Also, there's probably going to be a ratings jump because of this, perhaps taking above Baccano again. Well, not that I mind. There are much worse anime out there, and this does make for a good starter series before you get into the really good but more obscure stuff. |

Of course, some people will say any dub sucks. What I find more interesting is that they choose to air it after the DVDs have all been released. |

^Adult Swim is a program block on Cartoon Network that airs some anime. Nice news that DRRR!! is getting on tv, now I have an excuse to rewatch it. I remember when it was airing, some people were hoping it would end up on adult swim, but I never thought it'd happen. I wonder if the show will get popular. Also, I wish they would air Baccano too...no matter how unlikely that is. ;_; |

I didn't even know they dubbed it. But from what I've seen, the only decent voices were Izaya's and Shinra's. Shizuo's was butchered, Mikado's was... ugh, Kida made me want to cry as a Kida fangirl. I'll end up watching it anyway, just so I can remember why I love watching subbed anime. Also, for the person who was asking, they only air it on Saturday nights/Sunday mornings. EARLY. From, I think, 11 PM to 5 AM. So I hope you like being a night owl. |
