| This show is so random and so funny |

| Poor Yuuko can't make her friends laugh...I think she's pretty funny though. The elevator part was great. The sudden mood whiplash/Mio and Yuuko losing their minds over the word 'eggplant' was perfect. |

| Yuuko just wanted to make her friends laugh :( But can't blame the girls, I didn't laugh either Tachibana Misato= Sadist Tsundere level 100, a shame that Sasahara is treated that way I feel like the comedy is going downhill way quickly~ |
| Some criticisms - We're getting the same jokes over and over, we got another Nano having an absurd robot shenanigan joke, we got Sakamoto trying to be cool and mature and losing his cool to have fun joke, and then the slightly expanded on but still slightly overdone lonely soccer club jokes, and the Nano wanting to be a human and Sasahara and Misato scene. I put those in the second half because I found them all to bring something new to the table where the other two didn't. Sasahara and Misato grew on me this episode. I used to be annoyed by Misato contrary to my love for Sasahara since her entire character was a gag where she was tsundere and shot Sasahara. Something about Sasahara writing a poem on the roof and hilariously noting both that she shouldn't know where he lives, nor what his handkerchief looks like, and that she ironed it made it much more bearable. That and the fact that their relationship has moved up a level. I adored the Yuuko scene where she kept trying to tell jokes to Mio and Mai. She is such an insecure sore loser who needs people to validate her humour and needs to win games. On top of that she's carefree apart from when it comes to these two categories and lacks common sense. She is a great character and easily my favorite in the anime. That being said, I didn't really get the joke that Mai and Mio were not responding and they took a train somewhere missing class. Elevator scene was funny and artistic. It reminded me of Evangelion as the only anime I've seen that used such editing, audio, and cuts like this before was in fact Eva. It was absurd but the amount of time it went on and the care put into it helped it out a bit. And it is cute that Professor obviously looks to the side when she's lying and the entire snack scene must have been my favorite in the episode. Her adorable excuses and then her comforting the hurt Nano by promising to allow her to get cavities was funny and wholesome. I enjoyed this one for the above mentioned scenes where there have been some episodes that I only enjoyed a single part of, so this wasn't the worst by any means. |
