First thing i noticed when watching it. It reminded me those world visions similar to "Spirited Away". Another masterpiece from the Ghibli productions. The art too, was beautiful and really made me fall into the screens. Music? nothing to complain. You'll love it if you like listening to Ghibli music and the past films made by Shinkai Makoto. Anyways, let me tell you that this film was really heart warming. ![]() |

Nice two hours, but nothing I'd watch again. Underworld/Mythology/Orpheus and Eurydike etc. |

Brilliant indeed. I've said what I wanted to in my review, but it was truly stunning. Shinkai proves he can compete on level with Ghibli. |

I was wondering why I haven't heard about this till now. But looking at the trailer, I remembered I have already heard about this before. I had just forgotten about it (Why do these movies have to take so long to become available?) Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this. I'm getting in the mood for a few more great anime movies. |

It's getting a North American premiere at Otakon by Makoto Shinkai himself. |

Saw it at Otakon and absolutely loved it! It was different than Shinkai's other movies. His usual "simple but deep" style is completely thrown out. The story and universe are huge, and it feels very Ghibli, without losing the Shinkai touch. Even though they're rather different, I don't think I liked it better than 5 Centimeters Per Second, but it was still amazing and I'm so glad I had the chance to see it! I would even dare to say that it's better than any Ghibli film I've ever seen. |

It was pretty good, absolutely beautiful animations. The only thing that kinda bugged me is that I think was that score while good, felt like it came in strong at weird moments, but that could have just been Ota's sound system setup. |

I saw this at Otakon, and it was magnificent. I can't wait to own it on DVD when it gets licensed. |
