This episode might have been mostly as an information episode for Ganta, seeing as he learned much.

It would have been a great episode if it wasn't for the whole dark scenes, seriously, you couldn't see almost anything, I had to adjust the brighntess of my player and still it looked dark. When they release the BD, if they ever do, then I hope they correct this situation, which is annoying. lol, I had a flashback of Clockwork Orange when they where performing on Ganta the "Ludovico technique".

He needs to read more Battle Royale. I mean that manga is already part of japanese literature LOL

Ganta should learn how to love violence and gore because fans are waiting for him to go berserk. :D

I think you guys need to give Ganta some fucking time. The man witnessed like a few days ago the fucking head of Miki severed and bleeding out, WTF would you do if you saw that? Not only that he saw his best friends severed arm with the watch on it whom I am sure Ganta had memories of playing with it.

Add to that he saw other people around bleeding, body parts not connected GIVE THE GUY A BREAK! Even I am having trouble with this anime's mentality state. I agree with you though he must change to survive. I suggest he uses drugs to forget things.

The last thing any violence anime needs is a pussy for the main lead. == Sure, it makes the violence feel more severe, but there's a limit to how much a character can shit his pants.

Not too bad of an episode. Loved the development and the small debrief of what's really going on with Deadman's Wonderland. Looking forward to the next!

Usually when i watch any anime i tend to skip the OP but in Deadman Wonderland I cant get enough from it. Awesome OP !

I watched this right after I watched Ano Hana. Talk about a transition. For some reason, Shiro and Menma seem a lot alike. Maybe it's just the looks and the adorableness but.. yeah. Shiro's probably a lot less pure than Menma, they just remind me of each other.

I hate pussy main guys. But personally, Ganta isn't that horrible. It actually bothered me how calmly he's taking it. Seriously, he's in 7th grade. I'd be freaking out constantly. He even manages to keep his morals together by saving Shiro. Sure, he's not the most entertaining guy for this anime, but he's good enough for me.

Anyways, I'm enjoying this a lot. It's such a shame that it's limited to 12 episodes, I feel like there should be a lot more.

The music really stood out to me as well.

That was a very good episode. I am looking forward to seeing the fight between Ganta and Crow. I start hating the promoter more and more.
