That was kind of anti climactic.
She wasn't really a princess or something? >.<

Haha maybe she still is a princess. Maybe I missed something, but why did the Sea Talon kidnap her again?

@ ShoujoChrome: I agree. I was expecting the plot to start picking up with this chapter but instead it felt more like a filler. Shirayuki could still be a princess. We still don't know the significance of her apple red hair. Also, there have been repeated ambiguities regarding the Mountain People and the "mountain" the Shiaryuki came from as a small child. If memory serves me correctly, she doesn't remember much about the mountain or her origins. We still don't even know who her parents were. In addition, the pretty boy could have alternative motives. In one panel where he is speaking to himself, he mentions (as if speaking to his father) how he can finally go home now that he has secured Shirayuki. The Mountain People that Zen spoke with never mentioned this. There are a lot of questions left to be answered.

Poor Obi :( Though my OTP is Zen/Shirayuki, I hate to see the emotional turmoil that Obi is experiencing. His conflicting feelings for Shirayuki and his disappointment in himself for losing her is heart-breaking.

They kidnapped her because the Mountain Lions kidnapped her and they figured the buyer must be paying a hell of a lot or that she must be in some way extremely important (though now they're planning to just sell her as a sex slave since they don't know who the original buyer was). The Mountain Lions kidnapped her because they assumed that she was being held against her will as concubine. Currently, it seems unlikely that she is actually a princess, though its ambiguous enough that they could still make her one later if the mangaka felt like it.

I was really expecting Zen to pose as a buyer and just buy Shirayuki, I suppose he didn't have enough money on him and decided to sell Kiki instead.

btw, why are professional slavers allowing their merchandise to walk around free? and with weapons? (even if it was just smoke bombs)
