This show is so boring.

If you find the anime boring, read the manga, you'll find it more interesting than the anime itself, as there are more scenes and more funny stuff in there.

Or maybe you didn't like this whole capturing idea and you just came here trolling, sorry to be rude :)

P.S. little offense was used in this comment :D

Omg Keima was fucking hilarious. "I'm just an innocent bystander" *gets stepped on*

Not that great of an episode; found it cheesy. It was nice seeing Elsie's hair down though.

I don't get how Hakua is a Section Chief when she's so inexperienced. Failed to find a "buddy" while sucked in capturing loose souls.

It looks like I'm part of the minority, but for me, Haqua's arc is the best so far. ^^

Why?

I understand that the storyline for this anime is generally comedic instead of serious, but balancing serious with comedic is pretty important for me. We've probably all felt something like Haqua's frustration at not being able to do her job right.

When we mess up, the professional thing to do is 'fess up, admit that you've done a bad job and try to work together to fix it. The moment when Haqua was able to admit that the loose soul was her mistake, is in my opinion... -great- ^^"
Same for the moment when Elsie manages to force the loose soul from Haqua. ^^"
For a different reason, same for when Haqua almost cuts Elsie with her scythe. O.O !!

This anime doesn't specialise in battle scenes, but I quite like the one near the end of this episode. I find it boring and disappointing when a hero just, "gets more powerful", to the point where they can win the fight just by trying their best. In this episode, victory comes from a change in tactics, albeit a simple one: only Haqua has enough skill to safely hold back all the students the loose soul is throwing at them, so Elsie must be the one to capture it into the bottle.

Of course, this episode still keeps some of the series humour, so you still get some comic relief frequently. ^^

Side note: I haven't seen any of the manga.

I'm kind of disappointed a lot of people don't appreciate Haqua's arc, shown by the lower poll score for this episode. ( _ _ )

I hope more of this anime will turn out like this. Liked this arc it so much that I watched it again, and I rarely do that for any anime. ^^

I personally saw a drop in animation in this episode. You could see it in particular with Elsie's eyes, which looked awkward throughout the first half of the episode.
Otherwise, good episode, I like the normal format of capturing souls better, but this was fun for a change

These two episode were ok. I don't care for Haqua so I didn't really care for the drama either.

Yeah, I thought he will get a kiss too.

Not much from Keima in this episode aside from being innocent bystander. More haqua and Elsie next?

I liked the episode even though Keima was kind useless. I hoped he would've tried to keep those people back. Even though, i liked the kind of action that happened cause really, shouldnt capturing souls be some sort of big battle.

Actually, if he tried to keep those people back, he probably would just be ambushed by them. Then Hague would have someone else to have to keep safe, so it would just be a burden.

I really liked the development in this episode, although i don't know why the loose soul looked a bit like the State Puft Marshamallow Man....... But Keima's trying to stay out of the way and failing was priceless.

But.... I'm just an innocent bystander

I like Haqua's design but her superiority complex was kind of annoying. Especially when she had no reason for it as far as capturing loose souls go.

I really liked Elsie with her hair down too. So in the end Haqua didn't leave after all?

Ah, nice to see Haqua and Elsie working together! Definitely wasn't surprised when the former started being controlled by the spirit ... I guess all her worries just set that up perfectly eh :( I mean being successful in school doesn't necessarily mean you'll be doing well outside of it ... as she's learning >_< Luckily Elsie was able to bring her back ... she sure looks different with her hair down! :O
Ended up just swapping roles and then the capture was a success! Nice of Elsie to give it to Haqua, though I didn't expect anything else :P
So is Haqua going to go away for a while then? I mean we saw her after the ED ... hehe :P
Seems like they both sang the ED together as well :3

Haqua was cool... but now she screams predictable!!! I wish character development wasn't backwards. Elsie is as whiny as ever... isn't she supposed to mature? Her displayed attempt to comfort Haqua was soo cheesu
3/5 for the episode, was melodramatic, but aleast Haqua showed some power towards the end =/ a little redemption. But why didn't Haqua just do it herself, her hands were free and it looks to me like she had the power to do it herfself, just made Elsie look good for no apparent reason.

Decent development for Elise and haqua

I think haqua got too caught up in people praising her or she didn't want to disappoint those that praised her

Lol innocent bystander , tbf he's would be pretty useless in that situation and will just be a burden

Probably the worst episode in the series so far. I have alooot to say but just gonna condense it.

-Keima's logic was missing. Even if he's useless in this fight, he had his words as his weapon. Yet now of all times he's on the sidelines and doing absolutely nothing?

-Elsie has to step up this time. But all she does is scream Haqua's name and not even understanding the basic thing to do in this situation. Haqua clearly has negative emotions. So ASK her what's wrong. But she stands there the entire time doing/saying nothing. Just screaming.

-Haqua. I understand what they were going for with her character. It was explained well enough last episode. But showing the same flashback over and over again? It really made her issue boring and one note. For being a proud and stubborn honor student, she sure gave up easy asff. Just sulking the entire time. Really not a good foundation for characterization and character development.

-Resolution speech was eye rolling bad cliche and cheesy. And not in a good way. Not in the good way the first season was. This show was great in the first season, with an aiight starting arc for this second season. The beginning of this arc was promising, but failed with the end.

I look forward to a return to form next episode. Now.. next time they do serious plot or character arc, please be much better. Now, onwards back to the girl conquests with Keima!
Other than Elsie's behavior this episode. I still really like her character and her dynamic with Keima. She really fits that annoying little sister role.
