Volume 10's translation is still a work in progress, so don't expect it anytime soon

Whats your opinion?
Skip Volume 8 and read it after those arcs will be in anime ?

Read it anyway, but feel free to skip Murder Case since that's currently airing in the anime. Seems good so far. Though the other two side stories won't be in the anime for a while (or at all) and are definitely worth the read.

Well I suggest you to read Murder Case, cause it's kind of different from anime, about the people they see and some minor differences, and they also become suspicious about something "different" not about the case, but if you read you'll see.

I stopped reading on Volume 8, last was the Caliber side story. I'm planning to save reading Alicization until Volume 10 is fully interested. So should I start on Volume 9 and wait for Volume 10 or wait until Volume 10 is translated?

It's better to wait for the whole vol 10 is translated, unless you prefer waiting for months for one chapter (which by the way, chapter 3 of vol. 10 is fully translated in Baka-Tsuki 4 days ago).

Anyway, yesterday dengeki's posted the cover of the SAO: Progressive vol. 1.

Gah, really like's abec's art... For some reason I'm looking much forward to this instead of vol. 10, just the idea of returning to the SAO game makes me happy abit...
Good luck on the sales (lucky spot too, the blu-ray and I think the OST comes out the same month) and to Baka-Tsuki on translating this as well as vol. 10.
Oct. 10!

It's a new serialization by Kawahara. It's a retelling of the Aincrad arc in chronological order just like the anime did. First volume will be out next month and it will cover the beginning of the game, Aria in the Starless Night and Rondo of the Transient Sword.

From the advertisement page, the first volume will cover all the way up to the 2nd floor boss.

As I know, there isn't and you can't? Only Japanese version is avilaible. And for English you gotta check Baka-Tsuki.
