| Fun first episode, had me roaring through most of it.Haruko is silly and amusing, and there's plenty of alpha male, tough guy bad assery going on already. "Shulululu" That song man. |

| I've surely lost count on how many times I've watched this first episode in my entire life and it still amuse me the same. Finally decided to give this show a proper watch after years of watching random episodes, and never could finish. The old school feeling to this show is lovely. The music, everything, brings back a lot of memories from the past! Anyway, awesome start! I love how Hanamichi has shown different sides of his personality in one episode. Being all shy and cute with Haruko, and such a rude yankee when it comes to Rukawa and fights in school. The comedy is gold as expected. There's a lot more to see but it's been quite a while since I had a good laugh like today. It's really amazing how it mixes good comedy, school setting, sports and a little bit of romance, without messing up the pace. Even though I know what's coming in the next episodes, I'm still looking forward and excited to see what else this precious show has to offer. |

| I put this in my plan to watch list long long ago now I'm so glad I started watching this after randomly watching it on tv I think it was like 2005 when I saw this show wow it brings back so many good memories. |
| i'm a huge sports anime fan so i guess it's time to give Slam Dunk a chance. i've been kinda avoiding it because it seems like it'll be super repetitive and boring after a while, i mean look at that episode count. i really hope one match doesn't take up 10 episodes each time. and also, as much as a i love old art styles, the bodies kinda scare me in this anime.....they're just so huge, feels like i'm watching a bunch of yaoi semes play basketball. what is with basketball anime and scary enormous bodies? i won't come in with super high expectations because i feel like the high rating on this anime also contributes the nostalgia factor for many, which doesn't include me so i won't have that extra enjoyment |

| This feels a lot different then what I was expecting it to be. Very of it’s era and the art style is damn great in many aspects. I’m not sure what to expect but glad I got to this classic. |

| I've watched Slamdunk before when I was in elementary but forgot everything about it, time to rewatch ❤ I'm hoping for reboot but this version is classic, still good :) He fell in love at first sight with Haruko xD Sakuragi is so cute lol Ahh!~ he's teary eye! | Finally decided to rewatch this on BD with my brother :D Such fond memories! Still remember the OP and ED the exact same way! BD is a bit dark and I saw the movies having better quality. TV Movies Reason why I even started playing Basketball back in my HS days :) Let's do this! |

| my slam dunk journey begins and woah the music in this is so good, love the OP and ED. this came out 10 years before i was born but the 90s vibes are always unmatched. pretty good animation for 1993 as well. the character designs are fire and haruko is cute as hell too, nowadays the female character designs are so generic. just realized it'll be this show's 30th anniversary this year and now i finally choose to watch it oml. |

Sakuragi is hilarious, he doesn’t even know what a dunk is lmao. Also, Sakuragi is a giant. It’s pretty clear the he doesn’t know much about basketball. Rukawa is the love rival it seems since it’s pretty obvious she has a crush on him. She said herself haha. Another heartbreak for Sakuragi. Gosh, Rukuwa is a giant too and a badass. |
