Anyways, had to pay quiet a lot of attention to this episode.
Masakaki with less screen time is a no-no! (supporting character after all *sigh*
Hmmm...so people do know about the Midas money flowing in the real world~ interesting.

I'm thinking more along the lines that Kimimaro's dad was part of Mikuni's guild, which is why Q questioned not inviting Kimimaro to the guild. Mikuni is interesting though, being set up at the antagonist but so far helping Kimimaro.

Theres something really wrong with the animation or the broadcast. I'ts frameskipping a lot and I do hope that's not what they really animated because it looks very bad.

Also the cg is really sub part, it's like playing a game on a bad computer that displays 15 fps.

The anime is nice but the flaws are killing it.

How many episodes will this anime have anyway? From the very slowly rolling out plot and some hint in outtro I assume 26, but if its 12 I'll really give up all my hopes after another such dreary episode.

It's most likely going to have 11 episodes, like most noitaminA anime.

While not much happened, it was still relatively an ok episode. At least we got more background information on the characters that seem to be part of the main cast.

I'll be looking forward to next weeks episode, it looks like it could be interesting. I wonder if he is one of his professors?

he gets to fight his econ prof? Going to be a good episode, as everyone knows economics professors are crazy.

If anything this episode saved the show, clarified a lot of things about the plot. It was necessary as a set up for future action (i.e., shit is going to get real very soon)

The Baskin Robbins commercial was the best part about this ep. And the engrish.

I don't know what to think of this show, I'm not sure about the direction it's going to take.

CGI for the first episode seemed like it was gonna be annoying, the story seemed it wasn't going to have much layers and i would eventually drop it after a few more episodes.

But after Episode 2 and 3, I find myself liking the animation and being very interested in the story...

too much talking i fell asleep no joke..

OMG OMG ....IN THE END , HE MEETS HIS FATHER RIGHT???? I mean , he will duel with the person of the same face as his father(?) oh I'm just getting so excited about this anime *0* (some one correct me if im wrong!!)

I really like the girl (err...or should I said the ASSET with red hair and 2 devilish horns? LOL)

Anyway for now I give it a Masterpiece title ,:"P

And here is was hoping the rich dude was his father.
And to bad there's no manga, i want to know what happens!

So we learn more about his father... overall, okay episode... loved the "wolf-asset" :)

Sort of slow, but the whole thing with his dad and motivating him to take part in deals made this episode worth it.

Interesting episode. Jennifer (I think her name is?) I really like so far. I would probably be like her, make smaller gains but lose less if she loses. Micro mezzo macro and more explanations are liked :D
Kimimaro finds more about his father, and talks with Mikuni. Don't really know why he decided to spill all that stuff to him ... hmm ... :3 Masakaki should get more screen time lol XD Looks like he's going to battle a classmate next? ;O
Also, I was very impressed with the English lol :P
I love the animation so far, it's so cool lol XD Battles / deals are pretty cool as well :P
