Am I the only one that's continuously getting infuriated at the dialogue? It feels like they could omit a lot of the ridiculous banter between the characters for some actual plot instead. I'm going to facepalm if the ending ends up getting rushed because they were too busy making Okabe and Kurisu constantly yelling at each other.

You're not the only one. But I feel the two of us are the only ones. :/

2 min - plot development
3 min - random
3 min - OP + ED
15 min - gratuitous, forced comedy

That's the reason why I'm dropping this show. After this episode I was, like, what the hell did I just watch? The progress they've done could be summarized in two sentences... if you're wordy. The "banter" is cringeworthy and not amusing at all... I'm more interested in the plot. Unfortunately, I don't have time and stamina to suffer through "building relationships".

Nice episode. Pacing was slower in this episode, but dialogs are entertaining to hear. Duturu~

Foreshadows and its reveal is very smoothly flowing. I can see a lot complexity in its plot. I like it.

So far, so great! I'm loving every single moment of this, Okarin x Kurisu interaction -for some, forced comedy- is hilarious. Especially Okarin is the best aspect of the show. They know how to create such an uplifting, refreshing protagonist. The plot keeps getting thicker and there are many mysteries to be solved. It's my best show of the spring season.

LOL at Daru's underwear.
Things are coming along nicely, I wonder what Amane meant when she said she's a soldier. I have a bad feeling about her.

3.5/5, but voted liked... but in terms of words was more of an OK episode to me I guess, although they DID found the IBN 5100 pretty fast, this week's episode seemed to be a bit slow and no cliffhanger :( :p

I shouldn't have started watching this show, it's only been about 5 mins since I watched this episode and I already can't wait for the next episode, it's killing me. This would have been the perfect show for a marathon.

Interesting developments! Nice to see they actually got the computer already. Looking forward to them "meeting" Titor and going after that organisation.

Indeed epic quote. Couldn't stop laughing.

We had some character building in this episode and i think it was nice because the characters were kind of distant. They got the computer so can't wait to see revelations in the next episode.

It was an entertaining episode, but other than that I'd have to say that it was fairly bland. :U

Great episode, I'm glad Kurisutina is back, I really like her character. I wonder if Okabe ends up as being John Titor, would be a nice twist. 5/5, can hardly wait for the next part!

Every great group has at least one skeptic. So I guess Makise Kurisu is the skeptic.

Makise Kurisu... she is surprisingly a well-designed female character lead , even if she lacks any moe-kyun. Kurisu is attractive enough for me to ignore her constant frenemy banter with Okarin/HOUOUIN KYOUMA. This episode, the banter was kind of nice at times.

I was afraid we'd never see the Miko shrine priestess once again. Not only did we see Ruka, but he/she entrapped another unaware person into the deadly bait. Okarin probably had to smack himself from laughing at Kurisu like a mad scientist. Other times, he just seems to burst out in random spurts of "MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!" These are stylistic choices I definitely appreciate. Investigating the craziest theories of science... requires the craziest minds (and one level-headed character).

Despite episode 4 being a build-up episode, I was entertained. Though I hope we can get down to the crazy scientific stuff next time - I'm eagerly waiting for Okarin's conspiracy theories to come true. Time-travel or bust, I say.

Pretty interesting episode despite the slowness. The mystery part is really well handled.

I'm still interested in the plot, but I feel like the characters' eroge origins showed through a little strong in this episode. A few too many moe mannerisms for my liking. It's not really interfering with the progression yet, though.
Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't have eroge origins. They have visual novel origins. There's a difference.
It kind of annoys me how people automatically think "eroge" whenever "visual novel" is mentioned.
And for that matter, Steins;Gate is not an eroge, it's a good ol' visual novel. Just sayin'.

Apologies for the mistake, but it's not like my confusion was just because of the visual novel label. I'm aware that not all visual novels are eroge. I've played some of Umineko, myself. In this case, though, my whole complaint was because a lot of the dialogue came across to me as character flags and there's a lot of unnecessary moe elements. I'm left more confused by these elements if the original intent wasn't to titillate.

A lot of Kurisu time in this episode. It looks like she's going to stick around now.

I'm looking forward to when "SERN" starts to track them down.

Same here.

Hmm, so John Titor left it for Okabe then? So who is Moeka really? Questions, questions~

Pretty convenient that they found it so easily. D:

Ruka <3 What a nice/pretty trap.

We got some answers at least, but I predicted that the IBN 5100 would be the key.
Other than that, I got bored during this episode. The firing off b/t Okabe and Kurisu was tolerable at first, but got really dull and annoying as the episode went on.
Overall: A weak episode.

In my opinion, Episodes 3 and 4 are probably the weakest episodes so far. 1 and 2 do a very good job at starting the show, but the pace is really slow until episode 5. 3 and 4 do do a good job at establishing the characters, though. It almost makes me wish that pace was maintained after episode 15.

Good episode. Okarin and Kusiru are hilarious together. Things got a bit more interesting in this episode.

I can't stop lol-ing at Rintarou's constant, over-the-top speeches.

"Tuturu~" A lot of that this episode. Then some card games!

Seems like Kurisu-TIIINAAA and Rintarou are getting along very well.

Raku's dad got it 10 years ago; doesn't that coincide with when John Titor first appeared on the internetz?

I love Rintarou's belief in himself as Hououin Kyouma and his insistence in saying Kurisu+TIINNAA. She's gonna end up either killing him or marrying him.

Haha yes!

At first I thought the series was devoid of human emotions and filled with annoying jabbering females and one prominent insane male. But things kicked off pretty well this episode. They're slowly inducing the emotional touches I want.

Also, I really expected that they'd have to hunt the IBN to the world's ends but I'm glad nothing was dragged and the cliched 'It's not with us anymore' stunt wasn't pulled.

So they get the PC, let's see where this going from now on.

The best way someone is fat using scientific terms =)

Kurisu's tsundere side is clearly showed in this episode, and it looks like there was indeed something happened to Kurisu (or her dad) in the past maybe regarding this time travel thing.

Okarin's pun is very entertaining as usual; G-BACK -- Jibaku

They finally get the PC, glad they didn't dragged this matter too long~

Okarin and Kurisu are such a great combo, I swear the key to great dialogue is just to have two irritable yet witty people go at each other!

gosh, love the way Okarin says that
Me too! I feel like he's getting her back for the way she said his name during the lecture on time travel. ;)

I'm glad they're taking a minute to slow down and let my tiny brain catch up. Overall, I felt like this episode had some nice foreshadowing. I love cats, but I'm probably the only person that finds all that "nyaa~" stuff to be incredibly annoying. >.<

maybe, who knows I just like the way he says it with so much emphasize on the tina part xD;;
as for the nya thing, I find it kinda eh ok, but after a while I might start to get annoyed also.. but it depends xD;;

same here. but in general rin's intereaction with everyone is just awesome.

Hahaha, I don't have to say again how much fun Okarin and KURISU-TINA are, but I will.
I'm a little bit surprised that they got the IBN so fast though. I'd like if the series ended without a clear idea of whether SERN actually had a big conspiracy, or Okarin and them are entirely crazy.

It's good that they got the IBN. It may or may not be a big conspiracy. Finding out is the fun part of these types of series.

I lol'd at that one

Feyris reminds me of Black Hanezawa from Bakemonogatari "~nyanyanyanya" Give it a rest, already! =\

Now I get why Okarin calls Makise "Christina". Man I'm slow. Love the interactions between the two. And surprisingly no cliffhanger this time. Shock!

No cliffhanger this time, but the preview is the 'cliffhanger' this time, the part time girl reveals the warrior side of her that she was talking about.

ugh so annoying, of course not the anime but whoever is doing the timing for the subtitles. They either don't appear at all or the just blink and disappear as fast as they appeared, luckily I have seen enough anime to understand what they are saying but still its freaking annoying sometimes. Anyways I'm gonna guess that the IBN 5100 is going to break. Also would that maid's father be the time traveler, she said that her father left the pc at the shrine and the priest said whoever left it predicted that someone would come for it.
