| *Glad others saw the FMA commercial, hope you're all looking forward to it!* I'm hoping this story pulls off something interesting, as incorporating Satan makes our main the potential anti-Christ; this can be a lot to live up to. If it were a no-name demon created by the author, possibilities would be endless, yet now, a standard has been set. I wish the writer good luck! What I like is the fact that Yukio and Rin are polar opposites yet both importiant, dispite Yukio being weak, it seems clear he isn't going to fade into the background; I'm interested in what his role will be. Turning Rin into a permenent demon also proved a step in the right direction; hopefully it stays and does become a fancy, temporaray transformation used in emmergencies, as this is common. The above are things I enjoy about this series, it's quirky and brave, so far, 10/10. The below are things I'm finding cliche; tried and tested shounen scenario's many writers fall into the trap of incorporting... - The Dad's death was far too predictable; what shounen wants an old timer amungst youths doing great things? - Another predictable element was the introduction of an eccentric, creative character, they're common in anime now. - Something else that's becoming popular is the absent, pivitol parent we're all hoping to get to know. |

| Eh... The episode was fine until the end at the funeral. That ridiculous guy showed up out of nowhere in a moment that should be sad and serious, it just doesn't fit. :/ Mixing up 2 moments with such different emotions was a really poor decision. And I'm very very very tired of Mad Hatter kind of characters. |

| (No one else here got the Mameshiba commercial? D: Mameshiba is awesome!) So this episode concludes the first chapter of the manga. I see that they added a TON of scenes in-between, but it's been done really well so far, so I definitely can't complain. Mmm, nicely-animated fight scenes :3. Also, the CGI (I'm pretty sure it was CGI) for the Gehenna Gate was really nicely done. It looked as creepy as it should, and it didn't seem too out of place amongst the traditional animation. Still love Accelerator-Rin. And Kamiya is doing a great job, as always. I knew they were right when they chose him to be Mephisto Pheles :D What's with all the hate against the ED? It might not really fit with AnE, but I think it's still a pretty nice song :/. Maybe I only feel that way because I often listen to K-Pop. |

| Must <3 the Mameshiba CM. I loved this episdoe! I think that the Op and ED is both great! The ED is simple but catchy. Love the OP as well! The Music of this is great! I got teary in the end where the priest killed himself so that the Satan couldnt control him. I love this anime soo much! I dont read the manga of this and im enjoying it to the full. effing awesome episode. No other words to describe! (referring to the poll, on person doesnt understand the marvelousness of this. :P) |

| Love this episode <3 5/5 I wasnt sure if I would like how they turned the 1st chapter into two episodes but it worked out pretty nice and the differences from the manga were actually good also. They made me feel even more bad for Rin Op and Ed songs are good but I think the opening could have been a little better visual wise |

| The anime's plot moves a bit slower but since the manga only has a few chapters, slowing it down would be the best. There were a lot of changes but those changes were EPIC. The gate of Gehenna looked awesome. I really love Rin's voice~ and of course, Yukio's and Mephis'. Chibi Rin was soo cute. Woo~ Soo looking forward to the next ep. |

| Yeah the whole priest being taking over at that time was odd to me. Anyways, great episode. Sucks the Priest had to die. That one Demon(Shiratori) was full of fail tho, got his ass whipped 3 times in two episodes before being offed. Oh and he also got hit by a truck. Total failure, satan likely wasn't pleased. Some nice action in this episode. Rin just can't catch a break at the moment, can't even hold down a job at a grocery store. 5/5 Pretty excited about this anime. |
