So this Mephisto also looks like a demon. And he is taking Rin to exorcist academy? Where his brother and some other punks are aslo studying for exorcists? Reminds me of Soul eater and I love it.

OP/ED are nothing special, BUT they don't make any anime better or worse. Would you watch an awful anime, just because of good OP/ED?

This has turned into a rather interesting shounen hasn't it...

Budget is kinda through the roof too.

Pretty damn good episode, though I think the priest dieing was a little sudden. Not much stuff explained properly yet, but there will be plenty of time for that later I'm sure.

5/5 and next episode looks to be really interesting.

Expecting a lot more from this anime~. I hope it doesn't disappoint. Though I doubt it will, since people are giving it a 10/10 from just a few episodes. Can't wait for more action. *A* Yukio wielding a gun and Rin using swords. Yay~.

Hrm, the Father dying in the second ep was meh because we didn't even get a chance to connect with him. Methinks he'll reappear at some point -- resurrected by the bad guys?

Anyway, Sir Pheles looks like he's a demon, too, so I don't see why it's so farfetched that Rin (another demon) would be on the side of good as well.

Quality has been maintained in this ep, but am wondering when the brother is going to talk to Rin about everything. Pls to be getting rid of the elephant in the room, kthnx.

The creative aspect of this show is phenomenal!
Seriously those mushrooms blew me away. I was like eeee, they're so cool!
I enjoyed basically every minute of this show. (;

I was waiting like the entire time for that dude with the top hat to show up because in the preview he looked plenty entertaining and indeed he was!! totally dig his ice cream cone and cupcake outfit. hehehe.

As if he wasn't badass enough, Father Fujimoto's badassery skyrocketed in here so it's too bad that he bit the dust... Best Character Died Too Fast?

The animation was amazing, though the Gate was a tad bit too much... but seeing as it's the literal gate to hell, it might want to stand out a lot. Ah, another Mad Hatter character, and he's voiced by Kamiyan. I sense a great trolling in the future.

Almost forgot, I love the sax in the OP, and that ED sequence made me laugh. xD

Off to the next episode!
