| Did thery changed direction? This episode was soo funny at last! The best episode so far (and I was almost dropping this series after 3 previous eps)- Mai's jokes. Sakamoto and eraser. Frilly collar and classic music. Snowman. Almost everything was perfect this time. |

| A very, very nice change of pace from the previous episode. Still not perfect because it still has serious irregularity issues, but they managed to hit the right note more often than anything. I don't know why I find the teacher so funny, she's just too absurdized and lovely. And what a bunch of weirdos she has to deal with, no wonder why she lacks so much confidence, lol. Mai was pretty damn perfect in this episode, so far the best comedic character in this show, loled at the exam (poor poor Yuuko) and the later confession. I'm fine and all if a comedic couple is formed with these two, but where is Mio? After her stellar role in episode 2, she's been quite forgotten. I hope they manage to fully insert the characters in the next episodes. Best one so far. |
| Loved Mai's psychological jokes on Yuuko. It messes Yuuko so bad it puts Mai's practical joking on a whole new level than the usual slapstick joke we always see. |

| Even today, we enjoy an episode of Nichijou, but seems to be more than usual SOL. The narrative though less delusional opens the doors to new knowledge, we begin to better understand also the various characters of the cast, some moments are hilarious. The drawings are great. |

| If this is an example of a school in "moral decline" in Japan...wow, they really are better off than us. American high schools are full of bottle-flipping, shoving, and loud profanity in the hallways. Sometimes some douchebag will walk around with a boombox just to get a rise out of the teachers. *sigh* I wish I went to school in Nichijou... Sakamoto is very cute and reminds me of my own grey cat. He's trying to give off that he's sophisticated, but he's still a cat...it's in his species' nature to be easily distracted by those types of objects. And there's the goddamn yuribait at the end...every series, KyoAni?! I know right now that Yuuko/Mai will never be canon, and I need fluffy doujin with only slight eroticism to help me get through the suffering. |

| Hohoi~ This episode was good, Yuuko-chan interactions with Mai-chan were hilarious xD Sakamoto having some screen time was good too, no cat can resist the urge of playing with things in movement~ Nano and the little Professor are growing some appreciation in me, but I still think they are a weak point in the comedy :/ |
| Mai is such a sociopath, didn't she throw a Frisbee and shoot it out of a dogs mouth earlier in the series too?! That being said, she's pretty hilarious with how she teases Yukko. It's making me think that she really enjoys picking on her, in a friendly way. I can recall her winning the arm wrestle over and over too then asking Yukko to get her 23 juice boxes and "that" from the store; she must have loved doing that too. Sakamoto trying his hardest to garner respect so that he can be a father figure to the girls is such a funny idea. Him struggling to not play in front of them got me. And my favorite scene yet again was the Sasahara one. I may have missed the frilly thing joke but it still made me laugh hysterically. Something I've realized is a major difference this has with my favorite comedy which may be a driving force in my less than opinion of it. Cromartie has 10 minute episodes often with 1 or 2 scenarios centered in them. The jokes are dry, fast, and can be absurd but they all pertain to the said scenario. I find the rapid changing and quick jokes often based off visual gags or absurdity alone to be a flaw compared to other comedies which stick to a more static format. Something like Lucky Star passes, if I recall, because the scenes flow naturally one from the next, nearly always centered around the main cast whereas Nichijou flies scene from scene as if at random. If I had to say it in a phrase, I prefer comedies with more coherent jokes than this one. That being said, I'm still enjoying myself. |
| Not a fan of Mai so far. She's too dry for me based on how she interacts with Yuuko and Mio. The scene with Yuuko felt drawn out and unfunny. I guess I don't understand the details of Japanese comedy duos that they were playing around with. |

| this show is fun so far but i'm having trouble seeing where it's going... nothing but pure chaos and confusion is fun for about 5 episodes and then it gets old so hopefully the show advances past that |
