Characters who have an extremely weak personality and no conviction. A lot of characters start like this and "grow" into great people, but their beginning personalities really annoy me.
Will you be able to do.... what must be done?

- The sister turning out to be "not blood related" to her brother. It ruins the whole taboo factor of the incest anime.

-Plot armor. How come when a protagonist is about to get killed, in which there's clearly no way out, they seem to always suddenly gain some new random, ridiculously overpowered ability and wins in the end?

-The lack of originality

-The lack of serious, deep and intellectual anime

-Harem/Ecchi/Moé and other stuff that are killing the anime industry

-The voice acting sucks for new anime. They heavily rely on the VAs popularity rather than his/her talent

-Some companies are milking the hell out of some titles despite becoming really horrible

I agree with these statements that you made, especially about the voice acting, it feels like that very few have respect for veteran seiyuu considering how few favorites they have as compared to the popular one's, especially for female seiyuu. It seems like the veteran female seiyuu these days mainly get supporting roles, if anything.

I also don't like it when a series is adapted into an anime and it isn't seen through to completion, I rather see a series like Fruits Basket, Full Metal Panic!, and Ranma 1/2 have their remaining volumes that haven't been adapted in anime format completed, than some random new series green-lit for production.

1. Fanservice
2. The shrieking loli stereotypes
3. The fact that every other anime is a lame comedy/haram/slice of life

Generally the thing I dislike most about an anime are its fans.

Though generally I dislike that clichéd weak male character that for some reason is important despite sucking, so most harem leads.

I absolutely hate when there aren't enough female badasses. They are just damsels in distress, waiting to be saved by the men.

This could go with any show, not just anime. Do you hate a lot of movies because of this?

And fanservice/ecchi. I really, really don't like that.

glasses that moans if she gets even poked. I just wanna slap

Hating huge tits (especially overly huge tits) makes me want to +1 this with the force of a thousand suns.

I was somewhat disappointed when Hidan no Aria was like FANSERVICE DENIED when they led you on to expect some.

Oh, and any obsessing over the ocean. You know the whole getting hot and bothered whenever they reach the beach or blathering about how they've never seen the ocean before.
I mean, seriously, Japan is a bloody island nation, how the fuck can someone live their entire life without seeing the ocean? and even if they've never bothered slogging down to it, then they should at least have a general idea of what it's like, big, blue and wet, and have no reason to get their panties in a bunch when they see it.

LOL I love you

I hate it when any anime have really hyper, overly cheerful characters like Mokona in Tsubasa Chronicle and that white dog-rabbit thing in Shounen Onymouji that always follows the main character around.

I'm also not a fan of depressing endings that alot of anime tend to have.

I usually don't like anime that are episodic. I like ones that have continueing storylines to make me want to watch more.

Edit:
I also don't like when the characters yell their actions. You're supposed to catch the enemy by suprise, not alert them of your attacks, you idiots. :/

Fanservice/ porn/sexual aspects of anime, especially if the only purpose of the anime is for sex and it has no real plot.

Kids with fighting monsters. Ex:Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, etc. Seriously. If it were about dog fighting people would freak, but because they're some wierd monster things it's ok? The kids obviously don't care about their pet monsters if they're going to let them get hurt just for entertainment sake.

Those stupid airhead girls that are moe to the extreme that only know how to cry and moan and are completly useless.

Those male characters whose main motivation is the I want to protect everyone crap, it becomes specially annoying when they are weak too.

Yeah I usually hate those as well

When a harem anime focuses on developing the main characters relationship with only one girl throughout the whole series, and still doesn't end up with her in the end.

i dont even know

One thing I dislike is character design. A lot of shows have very similar character designs; the character design of many series follow the typical "anime-style." I prefer 'realistic-looking'' character designs, but I will watch a show regardless of its character design if everything else is fine.

I don't mind harem or ecchi, but why the fu%^* almost all male leads have to be little kids with super powers or total idiots (oh 3 girls jumping around one guy and he still can't notice a thing that someone likes him, someone like that should die)

too many cliches, really what the fu^&* in almost all harems you'll see

1.Childhood friend
2.Megane shoujo (girls with glasses)
3. Girl you met before transfer to another school and meeting her in school and after that end up classmates.
4. jealous (school)friend,
5.perverted mom or whatever
6. At least one hot spring(onsen) episode, when character just "accidentally" walks into women hot spring and sees his friends naked, then his nose starts bleeding, probably one of the "tsunderish" type of girls takes something and throws at him.
7.Girl making a guy obento other guys starts get jealous, male protagonist of course won't notice any special feelings coming to him.

lol I could write and write, because I seen it so many times, but the thing I despise the most is arrogan/BLOCKHEAD brat who acts like he knows everything.

Ahh..I feel relieved.

My point is : There should be more cool guys, more unique girls.really if you're making harem with crappy story at least make a cool character who kicks everyone's ass and add some bad guys who gets asses kicked, it's not hard..

There is many cliches and to be honest I really don't dislike them most them, there is actually a few I really enjoy. The major thing that I dislike about anime though is when really spectacular shows don't get licensed or things that do get licensed are out of print. It doesn't help a budding collector out. :(

Edit:Oh yeah there is one thing that gets me sometimes, when a young male character has a girl voicing them that is way too high pitch. It's the type of voice that my mind can't be brainwashed into thinking "this is most definitely a guy." Hoshizora E Kakaru is a recent example that comes to mind.

I hate it when animes are "very" predictable. It's alright when I can predict what's going to happen in the end, but not when I can predict it every single step of the way.

I also hate it when the longer series (like Inuyasha, Bleach, DBZ ect) are very repetitive. They start out good and strong, but after 50-100 episodes it's the same thing over and over, or a single fight scene lasts 5-10 episodes (alittle overdramatic).

I don't like how they almost entirely target very young people. It's hard to find an anime series that deals with mature themes. Look at the list of josei anime, it's tiny. I guess even in Japan cartoons are for kids.

Another thing I dislike is too much super-deformity or chibi. Aria had enough, Skip Beats! had way too much. I can get used to it up to a point.

I suppose I should also mention that I'm not a fan of the tendency in anime to make teenage girls look like pre-teenage girls. I'm not entirely immune to the Lolita complex phenomenon, but it annoys me.

I'm annoyed by how some anime give the main female characters huge eyes and strangely coloured hair, while the minor or background female characters have smaller eyes and regular brown/black hair.

I really hate it, when People in Anime exxagerate over things, no one really cares about.
When the main Female Character is completely shy, like she can barely talk.
And when everyone is extremely friendly to each other, like in Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu.

I'm actually kinda surprised at how many others don't like fanservice; judging by how popular series tend to have quite a few instances, I figured I was more or less in the minority since I didn't like it.

It's just kind of annoying. It's probably one of the only clichés I'm actually annoyed with.

Two annoying cliches that just came across my mind:

-Adjusting one's glasses, usually done by pushing them up by their bridge; it's always done when a person is about to say something important/smart. I mean, come on, I happen to be bespectacled and I hardly ever do it.

-Another glasses cliche: the almighty shining glasses; it appears that they can be turned on or off at will by the person wearing them even if there is no light to reflect; mostly used for instilling fear/intimidation.

Heh, that opening is great and so true. I still don't get all the fuss about the OP/ED songs. Are people realy singing the karaoke stuff every single episode?

Depends if the music is good, and How much you enjoy the song I guess.

I find myself singing along when I am watching 10-20 episodes of One Piece in one run.

I kind of got over this in anime, but the things that used to annoy me is the anime itself. Ya'know, I used to be watching a lot of cartoons and non-anime stuff when I was little and I still do, but now, I don't care what kind of anime I'm watching.
I love my anime list!!!

Various tried, tested and safe cliche's, such as:
- Two females = bitter rivals, two males = friendly rivals
- Spoilt Tsundere's with little background or use (love interest?)
- Wimpy/passive males who always fall victum to tsundere episodes
- Characters have to be of a certian age, which is almost always under 18
- Big bad established villians who you know are going to get taken down by the main
- Creators in a rush to turn their main character into the strongest of all hero's (why does the strongest = best?)

I can't decide if I consider this an actual flaw, or if I just need a break from long shounen, but I find it incredibly annoying how long it takes for anything to happen D; Like if there's a fight, and they need to defeat the person in order to carry on with the plot, they'll fight for about 6 episodes and they say "now I'll get serious". BE SERIOUS FROM THE START! AELITBIUAERNBLAENB.

The revolving door of cliches in Harem anime. Flaky self-insert protagonist, stereotypical females, typical situations, very shallow stories. I have yet to see a "great" straight-up harem since Tenchi Muyo.

Also, the tsundere bullshit as well.
