2011 strikes again.

This could completely redeem RurouKen if they stay faithfull to the manga. In that case, this new anime will become an instant classic.

I'd love to see a remake that covers the entire Manga without filler-episodes. (like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) That would be awesome. <3

This is one of my biggest wishes coming true. I've been saying RK needs a reboot for ages. I'm sure they will stay true to the manga since it's been finished since forever now... I'm so happy I could dance.

It's gonna be weird listening to a new soundtrack though, the other one is so powerful and true to the characters feelings... also, do you think they'll stick with Mayo-san? Hope so.

....I just died in the best way possible. I've seen the original series four times completely. I just love it that much.

This time around, if they animate the revenge arc for me, they can have my soul.

It's too bad that Saito's original voice actor passed away back in 2006 though, may he rest in peace. He was a total badass. Hopefully the new VA for Saito can live up to Suzuoka Hirotaka's legacy.

Though I doubt anyone will be able to call out "Gatotsu" the way the original did.

Yes, Saito's voice was quite iconic... but there are plenty of voice actors out there with deep, badass voices, I'm sure they'll cast the best one (although yes, sadly, it won't be the same thing... 'Aku Zoku Zan' won't sound the same ever again :P). I hope they keep the rest of the cast, though, including Mayo-san. I know loads of people hated the fact that Kenshin was voiced by a woman, but she really did an amazing job, in my opinion.

When do you think this will start airing? 2012? Or can I hope for a Winter 2011 start? :P
