Yeah, Thankfully we don't have to worry too much about censorship now a days, especially in straight-to-DVD/BD releases.

If this boosts its popularity, resulting in a second season, then great!
I still think about censorship spoiling stuff; people like me (20+) have often seen/heared some bad cove-up and for that reason, I avoided watchng dubs, yet it seems that in recent years, the West have eased up on it.

I think this is one of those anime shows that sound good in english. I think its mainly because the animation style resembles american cartoons.

I'm pretty sure PSG's popularity shot past the level of "hidden gem" a long time ago.

Really hoping this gets a BD release, I ditched DVD some time back and don't plan on returning to the format.

I didn't really think anyone would License the anime,I can't wait for the dub,that and I'm so buying the DVD when it comes out ^^

As I said in the previous thread, PSG is going to need a FLCL quality dub and translation for it to work in the slightest. I very much enjoyed the series, but a direct translation isn't going to work here. I'm very much aware of the fact that the language barrier made PSG much easier to digest. They need to deviate quite a bit from the original script to make it palatable.

wow. I didn't think Funimation would try to get near this show, but im happy that they did! ^^ i'll be buying the dvds the moment they come out next year.
