The first series is a lot better, they didn't mess with the story a lot. Everything is changed in the second series..

but even though it isn´t like the manga, it is an excelent series so far!!
this episode is one of the best

I enjoyed this episode, hopefully the last two get subbed soon.

Im still liking it, this part watching it animated is what i was waiting for n_n

I just finished watching this episode and I'm somewhat glad with the results. It is one of the better episodes in recent history and the beginning of one of my favourite arcs. Like always, I wasn't too thrilled with the idea that there was no reference to Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE or about Syaoran's payment on Watanuki's behalf.

As always, I like the Watanuki-Doumeki and the Watanuki-Himawari interactions. I also enjoyed the Watanuki-Haruka conversation, but I think that I like the manga version better. I was also quite surprised to see Kohane popping up, mainly because her arc seemed to be concluded in the anime, but it does further enforce the point that Kohane is not Watanuki's "goddess of luck".

Looking forward to the next episode! =)

Wow... what a serious episode. I'm starting to hate Himawari more.... but for some reason I feel sorry for her. (prolly cause of the episode preview)
But I wanna know what she IS. They better tell us soon before I claw my head off. T_T

Is it just me or did her voice change at the end of the episode?

Interesting but I still don't think there are any harmful intentions from Himawari... I still need to catch up with the manga.

To me it seems the price is only explained in the next ep. Did I miss something?

So many people talking about some Syaoran and I don't even know who he is. Well, I think that's not bad, because anime made in such way people who didn't read the manga would understand. And that's good, because I think, if you watch, for example, Tsukihime, you won't understand half of the things if you didn't play original visual novels, because there are even more crossovers. And xxxHOLiC is just good anime anyway.

Good episode, it was kinda obvious that himawari was hiding something, and that she gave off bad luck to watanuki.
