| Am I the only one who thinks this will fail horribly? Because it will. I'm calling it right now. Anyone even remotely connected to the gaming scene will know that EA's marketing department have been a bunch of nitwits the last couple of years. They're stopped caring about making quality games, just making sure as many people buy it. This is no different, just another gimmicky tactic to garner more publicity. Heck some of EA's other campaigns cost more than making an anime. The game doesn't even translate well into an anime. What happened to player-driven dialogue and story? I want to decide if I help someone or shoot them in the face, not let some director in an office do it for me. The only way to avoid this is to not feature Shepherd... no sorry, no Shepherd just isn't going to work. And I don't see how they're going to translate some of the voice acting into Japanese, IF it's going to be Japanese at all. Last thing we need is for Mordin's hilarity to be lost in translation. *sigh* Instead of doing this, why not spend some time and money fixing the giant turd that is Dragon Age 2? Fucking EA dipshits. |
