quite an old setting in this era ......
I wonder why they mentioned bout Medeka Box in this Anime...is that manga has any relation with this Anime?

The title say "dance" but in the Anime spell like "dan" ...

That guy seriously sound like shinpachi. But i check it on mal...its different ppl O.O

Mangaka of Sket Dance is the former assistant of Gintama's mangaka (Hideako Sorachi) by the way. That's where the similarity is come from I think.

And its quality isn't far behind Gintama's, just give it a few more episode before the awesomeness of SD kicks in at a full throttle. Assuming that Anime studio will do justice to manga material.

Yay, another adaptation of a WSJ manga.

So they kept the same cast from the VOMIC.
The seiyuu cast seems solid, a lot of familiar and favorite seiyuus.
It's a good episode, funny at some points.
Let's see if the plot will follow suit.

No wonder Medaka Box changed pace in the middle. It's really similar, students granting people's requests. Sket Dance was first so either Medaka should change pace or risk getting compared and cancelled.

a solid first ep. if the studio follow the manga then this should be a really good show.

-Already in love with the switch dude♥~ he is so funny plus he is voiced by Gin's VA!
-Every show does not necessarily have to be original. Its enough if its entertaining sometimes~ passed.
-The characters are interesting though i don't like Onihime's accent that much. She seems cool though.

I read the manga and I can't believe how many of those characters in the ending I still can remember! Sket Dance really has some character design that stands out hahaha

When I saw the word "odd jobs" in the subtitles, I suddenly recognize Shinpachi's and Gintoki's voice.

Anyway, 1st ep was ok. School Yoruzuya might be something interesting.

I always wished for there to be some kind of element of hockey in anime, but for a girl to use a hockey stick as a weapon? Buh buh.

That what i thought and unfortunately am not a big fan of endless episodes with no main plot.

liked it a lot 9/10 so far. I hope it keeps up the comedy and has more of a storyline than gintama.

anyhow, very interesting anime, this is defintely on my must finish list.

Dansu = Dance in japanese.. I guess it's supposed to be a pun?

Not bad for a first episode, and the competition looks pretty weak so I'm going to give it a chance. At least they didn't introduce a talking dog.....

I liked it a hell of a lot more than I thought I would. Much more entertaining than I initially thought too.

I think this was hilarious. Switch has to be one of the most enjoyable characters I've seen in a quite a while. It was priceless when he charged with his laptop at those 2 bullies.

Same here, it's usually the same story and "life lesson" repeating itself through each arc, but I will most likely stick around till the end of this
