| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This turned out to be more interesting than I thought it would be. They basically turned a hero's work into a type of contest or sport. Kotetsu is a pretty entertaining main character too and the other heroes don't seem that bad either. Well I think I'll check out a few other shows before deciding whether to follow this or not. I mainly only watched the first episode because I didn't want to do my homework anyway >.> |

| That was a pretty kickass first episode. The part with Kotetsu buying 10 of his own card sealed the deal for me. I thought the sponsorship thing would have been more annoying than it actually ended up being. As it was, it works with the themes the show is going for. |

| Really wasn't expecting it to be so good. Definitely had a Incredibles feel to it. I love the ED song, very catchy....Look forward to this series |
| Based on the trailer, I wasn't expecting to get any kind of serious story here, so it was pleasant surprise. It's a fun concept and it was executed well. I'll be following this one. |
| Truthfully, the only reason I'm watching this show is because Minako Kotobuki is in it, lol. But I'm hoping it's going to turn out good. I decided to watch the hulu stream, since I don't think this show is worth downloading. dem ads. Being legal hurts. I don't mind the product placement in the show, it's kind of funny. And the super heroes of this city must really suck if they need that many to get 3 robbers. Hnnngh dat Minako Kotobuki voice for Blue Rose. Seems like this will be a fun role for her. The character also gets an insert song...wonder when the single for that will be released. Tiger is cool, but I already hate that partner guy. Hope he doesn't hog too much of the show. |

| Really nice start. Found the whole "heroes being sponsored by big corporations" to be quite funny. |
| Can't say much that hasn't already been said. Kotetsu is a really intriguing character, and the concept is really novel. The CGI was a bit disappointing, I'll admit, but not anywhere close to making me dislike the show. I really hope that they explore the dichotomy of corporate sponsorship with heroic duty. Actually, I'm having flashbacks to Captain Amazing from Mystery Men. I wonder... |

| I wasn't going to watch this because the trailer and the CG looked pretty lame, but this turned out surprisingly great. Can't wait to see where it goes. 5/5 |

They didn't really get much spotlight in this one. The character designs and animation look great, and the cgi was not as bad as I had expected. However, it actually interested me a bit. The main character definitely is interesting, it's also rare to see that he has a kid. I doubt this anime will keep me interested for long, but I'll see if I enjoy the next few episodes. |
| Not quite sure what to make of this show just yet. Loved the animation and Kotetsu seems like a very likable character. |

| I thought it was kind of boring, honestly. Kotetsu seems like a cool guy, but everything about this show just feels off to me. I dropped it, unless it picks up in another two episodes or so. |

| Unlike last season, this is a very good start for the spring season, definitely will continue to watch and will hope it'll continue to get better. |

| Wow this was totally not on my list of anime to watch, but i gotta say based on this first ep it looks promising. The writing is witty and humorous and the show doesnt take itself to seriously. gotta keep an eye on this one |

| I'm trying this out, because it's got some of the Karas staff working on it. I expected some generic super-heroes show, so I was pleasantly surprised by the humor. Also refreshing that the MC isn't a teenage kid. Solid 1st ep, which made me interested enough to see some more eps. |

| a bit slow but interesting....its pretty easy to tell that someone is creating crime so they can get more ratings and therefore make more money. i guess ill watch some of this |

| It's rare that I instantly like a series or main character right off the bat in the first episode, but this is one of those rare ones. The show does come off a bit like Booster Gold: The Anime!, but that's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. And Kotetsu is such a great protagonist. An older guy with a daughter who is ol' school and genuinely believes in being a hero in a more cynical time? Immediately endearing to me. And Hirata's voicing him, too! The production value for this show is really good too (though the CG is a bit iffy here and there, but it generally blends in because of the show's bright colour palette); I love the character designs, especially. Looking forward to where things go! |

Setting it anywhere outside a TV show would make it a bit painful, and as it is now they get to bash us over the head with it without it feeling unnatural. They also find a good way to work it into the plot, so I definitely think they handled it in a way that works to the show's benefit. I'm kind of liking this show so far. At the very least, the characters are interesting, and the storytelling is smooth. |
