 The editor's meeting was one of the most nervous moment in this show.  The duo finally hears the result from Hattori-san and... The first half of the episode was quite nervous and even tedious to watch as everyone waits to hear the result from the meeting at Jack's HQ. Oh man, Mashiro and Akito seemed like they were more pessimistic than Zetsubou-sensei. The result seemed kinda obvious from the beginning, but I liked how the show managed to keep the tension high all season along. Anyway, it looks like we'll get to learn about the new character who will be in charge of the duo instead of Hattori-san. ↓  |

| Omg I don't think I've ever had that many emotions during an anime series XD I had this huge idiotic smile on my face during the entire episode XD I laughed, I cried, I had shivers down my spine. I absolutely CAN NOT WAIT for the second season!!! The manga seems to be nearing the end of it's current arc as well so it will be nice to see what happens next there too :D |

| really good first session only negative for me was the pacing they could covert a lot more of the plot in 25 ep then they actually did. 8/10 |

| I'm guessing Bakuman 2 will be the last season, they're really going to have to pick up the pace if they want to use most of the manga chapters. Anyway 8/10 for the series, loved it. |

| That was more nerve wracking than the manga. It was obvious that they'll get serialized but the wait on the first half was excruciating though. Along with Fukuda and Aoki's next attempt at serialization, I forgot that Hiramaru also got serialized here. This is a good combination, La Flaga as the editor and Ichigo as the mangaka. An amazing combo here :D And oh shi- it's Miura. Second season can't come any faster. 9/10 |

| Great last episode. When Hattori said "Congratulations." , it made me go "YES!!" with a big smile in my face. Why do they have a new editor? O.o I don't have problems with the pacing but it could have been better overall. This gets a 9/10. Next season seems exciting. |
| HOLYCRAP, you knew that they were going to be serialized, but it kept me really really nervous. Also, Azuki and Mashiro finally talked! Okay, so now I'm just saying the same thing other people are. One more thing, that's two series I just finished! (KnT and Bakuman) |
| Really good series. I agree with some of the people here when they say the pacing was slow which is why I gave it a 8/10 instead of 9/10. Man I gotta wait til October to find out why Hattori isn't their editor anymore. I really liked that guy, he helped them out so much and seemed like one of the more chill editors. I guess I'll have to see how this new guy does. Mashiro and Miho finally being able to talk to each other on the phone was awesome as well. It gonna be very hard for me to not read the Manga so I can know what is coming up in the anime, but 6 months shouldn't be so bad because there is a lot of new series coming up now and other series I want to catch up with (got back into anime about a year ago from a 5-6 year break) |

| Nice ending to the first season. I liked the little tongue-in-cheek joke with Mashiro getting a 3 of a kind in Jacks and it reminded them of the serialization meeting. Miura makes his appearance and while it's a bit comical with his over-the-top handshake, I still feel that it NEEDS MORE GAGS! ~ Looking forward to season 2 this October |

| Awesome series. I spent each week anxiously waiting to see what was going to happen to our heroes here. The wait until October is going to kill me. New Editor, big step forward in the relationship, and serialization... it's gonna be great. 10/10 for the series. |

Anyways, I was celebrating when they got serialized even though I (and probably everyone else) expected it. "Yatta!" ...And we never got to see that one dude's face. Now I've got to wait until October 2011. :/ |

| Breathtaking episode with an awesome direction and script development. Almost perfect for what it's trying to be. Overall, the series started slowly and on a shaky basis but it evolved into one of the best shows out there thanks to really good characters, great developments and a flawless direction. |

It's funny how the suffering of others can be quite interesting isn't it? Sure the Serialization meeting took long but it was obvious since there were 13 new entries for this time... Quite obvious they would take that much time... What made things really bad was our dear Sasaki Editor in chief approving of 7 out of the 13 mangas that entered the serialization meeting.... It's great to know that the three entries of the Golden Cup managed to get into the Second selection but only Trap got to be serialised.... By the way I forgot how many mangas are starting... 4 right? Hiramaru's, Ashirogi's, looks like Arai was serialised too (Arai-sensei~~) and another one right? Or just 3? Well such a shame Aoki and Fukuda had to be left out this time but they will come someday... Well after the announcement everything went quite good... until certain someone we manga readers came... Should he appear like now? couldn't wait for next season to introduce him.... I'm not too happy with him but oh wells... Btw didn't expected him to be so... chocolate brown... Always imagined him to have a darker hair colour tone... tho the skin is dark too... doesn't matter... Well... We'll have to wait until Oct to see him in action... and Hiramaru too! I'm amazed that his first try got serialised rigt away... but it's as Yoshida says... a genius is a genius... Of course he's the exccentric type... but... Oh wells.. you'll see... yay for great ending.... Miho's call as well... so the Anime creators moved the phone talk over to the ending and put it there to make a solid ending to just remind us of the real goal of this duo....
