Seriously, I would have expected them to put Astarotte no Omocha over Kaiji and the noitaminA anime after Diomedea's success with Ika-Musume and Kugimiya Rie voicing the main character in it. Yes, there's going to be twice as much Rie for your money this season. |

| How nice, the most generic thing tops the list. Also, actually surprised to see C and Kaiji 2 on the list, and not to see Gintama, Toriko and Sket Dance. If anything, being original lowers an anime's chances to appear on the expectations list, because such shows don't have any existing fanbase. | Funny that Deadman Wonderland isn't on that list, and so low on Biglobe's list that nextday posted. Not moe enough for Japan apparently. Good to see both Noitamina shows in the top 10. They could use a hit after this season's debacle. |

I might actually watch it myself after how surprisingly good B Gata was last Spring. Besides, I don't think I have ever seen a protagonist who already has a kid (so presumably has already had sex) in this kind of anime before (where the male lead is almost always a virgin), so that alone makes me think that it might be worth watching (and better than Hidan no Aria at least). I was just surprised that they picked Kaiji and [C] (not so much AnoHana) over it. |

| Steins;Gate not being up there was the only surprise I had. noitaminA generally gets good expectation values, also the light-novel adaptations especially when Dengeki-voters are involved. Steins;Gate will still be the best of the season, if staff don't go off track. Thankfully, they will never do original ending according to their staff interviews, but we will see. |
| I also thought that Gintama would be on this last. But then I thought that since the manga is ahead of the anime and the manga is already out, it is not that anticipated. However, it is for me (lol) |
