Disservice to the manga imo. I extremely disliked how they cut out all of Kaoru's inner thoughts and most of the story in general. Skipping the collar-in-the-park scene alone is enough to aggravate me tbh. I can already assume the people in this thread who have just watched this with no previous experience with the manga are just in a "wtf?" state.

i just assumed that they were saving it for the next ep.
i didnt like how they told their first time in a flash back.
also i wouldnt want this made into a hentai, the original material isnt hentai it just skirts the line.
i hope we see the porn store owner in this she is the best character.
ive never seen someone so enthusiastic about whips, chains, and gags.

Is the dude really that creepy in the manga?

Kaoru is actually a rather good character in the manga and I never once really thought of him as 'creepy', and that's coming from a girl. Sure, you could tell he would get excited and all, but you had his thoughts all the way through and they never really rang the creep alarms.

Overall its not horrible, but if the story continues in the same way then it won't be very good. However if the next episode is told from Kaoru's point of view earlier on with like his agony, and the collar incident and then ending where the 1st ended then maybe this will become better.

The best method I think they can do for this series is to pair up episodes two at a time with each covering different views and incidents.

Also lots of people are complaining about how they did it but come on people lets hear what you think they can do to redeem the 1st episode from here on and make the series good.

This was easily one of the worst things I've ever seen. Kaoru was ridiculously creepy. And whatever hotness Nana had was gone with the creepy lip licking for me. There wasn't even any comedy. Then again I don't know what I expected, but it probably wasn't what I just watched.

This was kind of "meh" for me. I thought the animation was alright, and the voice acting pretty decent, but what makes the manga so great is the characterization of Kaoru. He is a really well fleshed out character and his excitement in these situations is part of what makes the audience excited. Without that, what you get is kind of bland.

I'm not familiar with the original manga, but... Total lack of a safeword? Not sure how I feel about this.

Not as bad as most of the comments suggested it would be, still inferior to the mango.

It should have gotten more episodes, so that there was less need to stuff all the ecchi-goods together in just 6 OVAs, leaving out all the rest. feelsbadman.jpg

Kind of disappointed. I feel like they turned what was supposed to be a unspoken love for each other into a creep raping his childhood friend. They kind of left out all the exposition and just showed this guy taking out all of his pent up fetishes on his friend. Meh. Will watch the next episode to see how the progress from here.

This was awkward to watch, much easier to digest while reading. Plus, I didn't particularly love the flow of the episode. I was hoping they'd start from the begining just like the manga, I would've have liked things drawn out more. Needs improvement, but I won't damn the whole thing to the scrapyard.

i actually thought that was pretty good for an OVA not knowing it was in fact one. Some great directing leaving the audience to want more, definitely. Looking forward to the next!

What the fuck?

I'm not even sure how I came across this anime, but damn was it weird. Kaoru is one of the weirdest anime characters I've ever seen. The whole episode was awkward. It started with the whole softcore S&M thing which is cool and all, but it slowly transitioned into date rape lol. By the end of the episode I was wishing I could get 25 minutes of my life back. Think I'ma save myself the awkwardness of the next episodes and just drop it now.
