This puts us on a path to sustainability for the short-mid future. We're looking at more options to make sure we stay ahead of the performance problems. I know this has been an extremely long time coming, and I deeply apologize for the delays in getting these much needed hardware changes done. One down side to switching to Innodb is our lack of fulltext indexing. Thus, we had to lose search in the forums. We're planning on adding it back in once we're able to implement an efficient solution. I don't have an estimate on when it will be back. User anime/manga, signature, and series stats should now running without issue now as well. I've added a prioritization queue, so if the server is inundated with stat requests, the person who has waited longest will get updated first. Sorry for the delayed announcement. I wanted to post when we made the server changes, but we wanted to monitor performance first. Expect some more bug fixes and enhancements in the near future. Now that our performances issues are largely resolved (for now), I can focus on the ridiculously growing/embarrassing bug/feature request list.  |

I'm another person who is feeling the loss of the Search feature. If it's at the cost of not waiting literally 26 hours for my list to update....fuck. I can't really complain. But it would be loved if it could come back in some form or another one day. EDIT: And not having my posts "Not existing" for a few hours. Thats another bonus.
