Frontier Works' official twitter account has announced a new Higurashi no Naku Koro ni OVA to commemorate the series' 10th anniversary. The title is "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira". I am excited if this is going to be an entire arc or something. If it is one episode it will probably be kind of a lame filler though, I never really cared for the humor in Higurashi.      |

I wonder if it will be an arc or just silly fanservice. Hoping its the first, since the Higurashi characters are really boring to watch when its trying to be funny. |

I mean, this whole concept has an infinite possibilities for producing millions of unrelated arcs, but fanboys would still keep saying there's some extremely clever plot in there. |

I'm really looking forward to it! But yeah, hope it's not a repeat of Kai. That was kinda disappointing. Will they be basing it off one of the manga arcs, I wonder... And which one, I wonder.... |
