Why is this work still stated as "publishing" when for as far as I know, within the 8 chapters it had already finished the manga-ize this particular vol. of the novel series... and it doesn't seem like there's any other manga version of the other vols. of Hanafurirou novels?

From what I understand, there are 14 chapters in total. Hope you read them all! Such a great story. ^_~

If there are 14 chapters, why does it say 17 here? So... which is it?

That's what I'm so confused about. I was reading the manga in Chinese actually. The Chinese only has 8 chapters which covers from Toku Hen and Keisei hen... and they attached 3 more chapters which I see was afterwards and it is definitely Hanazono Hen (which corresponds to novel vol. 5 Hanazono wo Tooku Hanarete. This vol is basically a short story collection of the 4 couples from the previous 4 vol. and talks about what happens after they left Hanafurirou. Kichou/Kagerou couple is merely one couple in there). So there are 11 chapters tops to my knowledge but the chapter number in the database far exceeds the chapter count I'm seeing so...

Even 14 that's said in response to my original question was over my total chapter count in the end. Whatever. As far as I'm concerned I've read the whole thing since I don't see anything more in both in manga... and as far as I know there isn't any more written for this couple in novels either, I'm just going to mark it as finished in my list.

17= 2 prequel chapters (1.1+1.2) + 1 final extra chapter (14.5) + 14 chapters(story)
It’s time to ditch the text file.
