Who is your favorite male character that get bashed alot?? You don't have to say why you can just list them, but it would be nice if you did its not mandatory though. xD

shinji ikari from NGE

i like shinji from a psychological and realistic standpoint, but he's always hated on mostly for being a "whiny emo bitch" (which i will admit is true, but it fits in context to evangelion).

Same I liked that scream he gave in the End of Evangellion movie it still resonates in my mind until this very day. Spike did an amazing job on Shinji's voice. I also liked the part where he masturbated to Asuka's comatose body..........Then I started laughing my ass off when he said "I'm so messed up" xD

I'd have to choose my Top 2, which would be Lelouch and Light.

Both hated for similar reasons, because of there reasonings and the fact that most label them "Monsters" and "Cowards", and my personal favorite "Emo"

vash from trigun. people seem to think the show ruined a great character. cuz vash cries alot.

Shiro Emiya of Fate/Stay Night and Sora of Kingdom Hearts gets a lot of unnecessary bashing so I think they should be added.

It's not fair Shiro's naive side gets so much hate and Sora gets all the hate for killing the evil Organization XIII

Well, I like Ikari Shinji from NGE (obviously) because he's not emo good-for-nothing, he just acts like any confused teenager in his situation would.
Also, Okajima Rokuro (or Rock) from Black Lagoon gets hated for "being useless" and I don't understand it - ANYONE would look useless with people like Revy, Balalaika and Roberta around, they were mercenaries/mafia leaders for years while poor Rock was just ordinary salaryman, it's not his fault. And he's far from useless - he is actually very good negotiator and has kind heart. Someone has to think before shooting, even in Black Lagoon.

Heylo peeps :). Tho FFVII is rather popular, I notice Cloud Strife get's a lot of bashing as well.

It's usually cuz, they either love Zack to death and claim that "Cloud stole his personality!!!11111" and some shit, or the most annoying one,"Cloud is an emo-bitch!!!111". I personally hate when people call him "emo" cuz for one, he has every right to be upset after those 2 years cuz, you just DO NOT get over something that fast, especially after everything he went through. Second, I think a lot of them just don't really understand his character too well and end up judging him before really seeing him all the way through. It's just ridiculous as crap.

As well, I also hate seeing Shinji Ikari get bashed a lot too. Again, he's one of those characters you really have to see everything about before you judge them and I hate when people call him a "whiny little bitch" -_-. Pisses me off.

Kira Yamato for me, obviously, always being bashed for Beam spamming, and having unbeatable plot armor where he doesn't die even when blown up.
