finally, no longer to read it every week....

Technically, what is happening in the current chapters should have happened long time ago....

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

I would have to agree with you on that.

I am very happy it's ending. Inu Yasha needs to end. Now if only Detective Conan could end...

I remember, when I began to read it. Sesshoumaru was one of the first favorites back then :/ Good old times, eh? ;_;

Anyway, so it comes to end...

Yeah, me too =/ I'm a little ashamed that I was a huge fan of it.

I can't blame Takahashi sensei for that because the authors are not allowed to make the story of those big hit series like Inuyasha or Dragon Ball at their own will. As Toriyama Akira sensei complained before, the script of the Dragon Ball was discussed in the conference of TV program producers and the chief editor of Shounen Jump. They decided how the story line should go, not Toriyama sensei.

I've encountered a much longer manga called Hajime no Ippo (800+ chapters), however the main difference is that the story actually progressed throughout those 800 or so chapters. ^_^

Kochikame has 1500+ chapters
Gorgo 13 has 1300+ chapters

I was planning on dropping Inuyasha any day now, I never drop something. But I don't think I could've endured it any longer, thank god for the finish~

Very simple, it was the same with the manga "Muddy", everyone thought it was going to be a nice long (either way, more then it has now) shounen, with a good amount of chapters. But chapter 12 was the sudden final chapter.

No one expected that? So it's pretty simple ^^

I've been reading the last few chapters and it's been a pretty good ending so far and I hope that the final chapter does the series justice. :D But yeah my biggest hope right now is that the anime gets continued, I really hope it does!!! Because there's still I think over 200 chapters now that they could animate without having to worry about fillers.

I enjoyed most of the anime. I had my issues with it towards the end, but overall I liked it. I plan to start the manga where the anime left off.

Technically it'd be season seven, since the anime has already had a six season run.

Personally though, I'd like to see the anime re-made from the start, with zero filler, and have the entire story compressed in to 200 eps at the most. But then the manga by its very nature is very 'fillerish' with Naraku escaping countless times, and the crew all going on meaningless stupid hunts that go nowhere. >.<

Exactly, I'm reading the manga and I'm shocked at how it actually seems like there is filler IN THE MANGA at times (like these random 2-5 chapter stories that go nowhere and mean nothing and do nothing for the series).

Finally! I wonder how many chapters she could have suppressed. Inuyasha is so fillerish! >.<
