According to Mainichi Online News, the serial manga Inuyasha will end in the next issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday published on Jun 18. The author Takahashi Rumiko started this series from Nov 1996. 53 volumes of the comic books have been published and the total sales have reached 43 million copies.
i really hope its gonna have happy ending and all.i cant wait to finish it(just in vol 5).
and its pretty sad to me its got end i big fan of the anime and i think the manga are promising as well the anime are.
Seriously, just as I said before, that should have happened 15 volumes ago.
I can't blame Takahashi sensei for that because the authors are not allowed to make the story of those big hit series like Inuyasha or Dragon Ball at their own will. As Toriyama Akira sensei complained before, the script of the Dragon Ball was discussed in the conference of TV program producers and the chief editor of Shounen Jump. They decided how the story line should go, not Toriyama sensei.

Kochikame has 1500+ chapters
Gorgo 13 has 1300+ chapters
I was planning on dropping Inuyasha any day now, I never drop something. But I don't think I could've endured it any longer, thank god for the finish~

Very simple, it was the same with the manga "Muddy", everyone thought it was going to be a nice long (either way, more then it has now) shounen, with a good amount of chapters. But chapter 12 was the sudden final chapter.
