| So far I do not see that much connection to the other arcs, but I guess that will come Also after the first scene I hoped it would start earlier telling Renas story chronologically, but I guess this doenst happen. Looking forward to the next one. |

| Poor Rena. . .i cant believe her mom would do that!!! and that woman is doing that 2 her dad!!! i cant even imagine what Rena's gonna do to that girl!!!. . . lol i LOVED the beginning!!! where they were playing with water guns... Rena was really good and so was Keichii... Sataco was surprising. . .omg and the punishment was awesome!!! "I was gonna make Keichii wear this if he lost!" ahaha nice Mion!!! and wow i loved Coach!!! chasing after Sataco and Rika lol!!! . . . i cant even imagine what her dad will feel like when he finds out or something. . .i would feel REALLY stupid!!! anyway great epi i cant wait 2 see the rest of Rika's story!!! =D |

| So this Rina woman is the mistress that Satoko's uncle was staying with after his wife was beaten to death. I hope Rena goes on a rampage because I think the first arc where she was crazy is still the best. |

| So after 22 episodes and 4 arcs (not including those wasted 2 episodes in the middle), we finally get to the point where Rena's trademark machete comes out. If the inevitable murder is anything as tense and expertly paced as Keiichi's murder attempt way back in the 3rd arc, then I think we're in for something special :-D |

| That beginning scene is alright. Yes, it's a new arc! And it's Rena's arc! That water gun fight was intense. But that punishment game was funny! We learn about Rena's past with how her mom left her dad for an uncle. And then it ends up with her dad ending up with Rina Mamiya. Rina is working with Uncle Houjou in order to steal money. Rina will be stealing money from Rena's dad. Because of that, Rena will be using her cleaver pretty soon. |

| seriously... when i watch that watergun battle scene, it's like a very well done slice-of-life anime. but seeing those darker moments in the past episodes just casts a large shadow over the peaceful times. |

Maybe it could connect to the third arc, where Kei killed (or thought so) Satoko's uncle, which is a blackmailer. So, Rena (which it seems Reina is her actual name, if it was already been said, I don't remember) moved 1 year before in Hinamizawa, after her mother divorced from his father for an unknown man. Rena at first wanted to stay with her mother, but maybe something happened and went with his dad instead. Now, I don't recall in which arc, it's said that Rena already lived in Hinamizawa, then moved away, but after the school incident (maybe under rage for whatever happened with her mother) returns in town. Now we have his dad have a hit on this girl, that Rena knows already because she lives with them, which is Satoko's uncle girl and complicit in his blackmails. They're planning to extort money from him, Rena overheard everything and things will escalate quickly and brutally. Wonder how it will connect to some other arcs, but I doubt it will, because it seems a completely different setting. |

| Seems like a new arc to me, not an explanation arc or something. But I look forward to learn more about Rena. I wonder if she will only resort to violence or if she is at least going to try to talk with her father about the situation. Although I saw what happened in the last arc, no , in EVERY arc, I can't bring myself to hate those girls, even Shion. I know they can go crazy mode if they want, but when they act so sweet and innocent they are all just adoreable. |
