<Good> I feel the potential from this, and with ufotable making the adaptation it's even more like it. I'm in.

haven't heard of the manga 'til now, but since it's ufotable, I think I'm gonna like it ^_^

I have always wondered why does none of Junji Ito's manga have anime adaptation. Few of them have live action, but no anime... until now. Gyo is not his best work but I am still looking forward to seeing this, especially knowing that it's being made by ufotable.

I still would prefer Uzumaki to be animated, but I'm not complaining much since the anime world needs more whore... I mean horror!!!

Wow, I just had a look at the manga yesterday thinking "This looks pretty cool. Kind of weird it hasn't been adapted into an anime yet though.". And look at that, it got an adaption the day afterwards!
Definitely going to watch this. I'm looking forward to it.

I have to admit that I'm pretty excited about this, even though Gyo is my least favourite manga by Junji Ito. The story was either strangely hilarious or too silly to be scary, but it was a decent read in the end. Still, I really hope ufotable won't censor the living hell out of it. So yes, looking forward to see it no matter what.
It's an OVA, and OVAs allow for the most creative freedom in terms of mature content, so they probably chose an OVA format for the sole purpose of not having to censor it.

I might as well check this out myself when it comes out.

OMFG, great news. Now we need only anime adaption of Uzumaki. That would be even 100 times more epic.
