| Now there is an English dub! So anyway it started off with an interesting first episode. And also that kid just said "No final destruction." What the hell is this final destruction? |

| Good start to the anime version. Lately I've gotten back into the original game on the PSP but I never actually got around to checking all of the anime out, so I think I'll start now. The episode was great in terms of the pacing, leaving majority of filler dialogue out, and I especially liked some of the subtle changes they made, such as how the Deku robots came through the window instead of cut a hole through the roof, or how the damaged room didn't have the shattered glass. I know this sounds super analytical but small changes like this make the series make a lot more sense, since Ban cleaned the room to look normal afterwould. Other than all this analytical stuff though, the music was placed really well, and the opening was hype, along with the soft and slow ending theme. I also really liked the start of the episode where they included one of the later fights down the line in the Artemis tournament, foreshadowing the upcoming arcs. Overall 9/10 episode. |
